Late to the party Gino! Just ordered an Iridium keyboard literally in the last 2 hours. My first synth! I have a lot to learn. What an awesome tutorial/demo. The synth is so under represented on YT it's untrue. An easy like. You'd probably sold it already lol
Great video. I'm a new owner of the Iridium Keyboard and I've been playing synths since 1986. I'm blown away by how great this synth is... thanks for explaining the LFO details... I'm picking up so much information from watching youtube videos. It's an incredibly deep synthesizer... I'm wondering why I have so many other keyboard when I play it :D

But do you also save the raw sound to a external recorder to later listen to it or do some editing?
Hey there Peter! Good to meet again online :) Apologize for the delay. I typically save patches to the device (Irdium in this case) and make audio clips for tracks I'm working on. I don't typically record audio for each patch per se, because the way I work patches are created for a song/track and named that way. Hope this helps!
Hey Gino, thanks for the tutor, really appreciate it. Btw, did you report that counter-intuitive LFO amount knob behavior to Waldorf? They seem totally fine to accept bug/feature requests like that.
Yes, I’ve raised it, and hopefully they consider updating it. FWIW - I may re-record this video as it’s hard to see the screen, and I typically make better sounding patches with LFO when I’m not recording :)
Wow, now that is a tricky question! :) I would say “it depends”. If you are talking in a mix, then yes I think the Quantum/Iridium is very capable of doing natural sounding “analog” poly patches. But I will also say that a true analog signal path has a character that is very hard to replicate with digital techniques. You can get very close, but there is this extra character and liveness that analog has. It’s why I own a PRO3 :)
