Is there anything more wonderful than opening a recital a recital with Kinderszenen . The repeat in Faraway Lands made me cry she really made it seemed lived in ! Loved what she does here ! I grew up with Kempf and Argerich 's recording of this so it's rare that I'm impressed in this music !

Very good play of Mrs Bazik. Excellent ! This needs much practicing and a lot of will. I am not a big expert , but I like the interpretation of the theme at the beginning more than from other players ! Many others play it in a rather trivial way , like they want to express an afternoon stroll. Mrs Bazik plays this theme with more dignity.
You sound even better on the Steinway, not that I minded the electric Roland in the other recording. I played in this hall a few times when I was younger and if it’s the same piano, I remember how low we had the lid for my accompanist. I really like the Schubert! Well done!
Thank you so much, Tamás! How fun that you played in the same hall. I believe these are new pianos they got several years ago. The hall itself was also recently renovated (this performance is in the old one) and the acoustics are much better now.
Also nice to hear Hurwitz 's Mallorca . Carl Vine 's Sonatas get played a lot It was nice to hear something besides the Ginastera,Barber,Prokofiev Sonatas which are always on programs or the wonderful Corigliano unforgettable work .I really enjoyed the Piacentini - the textures , The Ideas! the feel of a narrative taking place on several levels . The 2nd Mirage starting at29:57 .I must find this score !!! This was a fabulous experience I will research this composer and buy some works. The Hurwitz is a little too oldf-ashioned for my tastes .Ned rorem so many other living composers offer interesting work ... but our enthusiasm was very apparent for this music .
