No he trobat cap clip d'aquest preciós tema de la meravellosa Iris DeMent, i l'he fet jo mateix... Disculpeu-ne la senzillesa, però de moment és tot el que sé fer.
Oh what a song! It reaches to a point that is indescribable. Such a haunting melody and lyric that you are moved to listen to it again and again. And then some more! Truly, songwriting craftsmanship at its best!
It's 30 years since I first heard iris wrote her name on my shed wall so I would remember her . Still listening to her .can't understand myself never buying a record wanted her to be an enigma in my life. Good thing is lots of her songs are on my phone.heaven to hear whenever I like 7o years old now very soothing to my cancer. All the best iris. Thank you
I was at the Cedar in Minneapolis to experience her singing this song. Solo with just her and her piano and guitar...I treasure the entire night of her performance. I continue as a groupie when she' at Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield when she's scheduled to perform there. A friend stated that Iris had actually saved her life with her music...
Thank you Iris for this beautiful song -- Morning will come & has come painfully early for our 21 year old daughter -- to picture that time as a lovely, sunny morning as nature's calls us to it's amazing beauty is of some comfort ---
@@gregjacka6994 Her birthday is in March --- this year - 2021 - has been very trying with missing her presence --- the beautiful young woman who had so little time. Thanks
@@g.flesch9731 I just heard this beautiful song and it made me think of my brother, the kindest, sweetest, most gifted man I'd ever known. I can't imagine what it would mean to lose a child, but this song helps me too.
I've only just found this so emotional voice a few weeks ago so so beautiful I just can't stop listening 🎧 it's 2:30 am and I can't help myself but listen it's so therapeutic 👌 thanks ❤️❤️❤️
What sweetness--tune, lyrics, woman, heart, aura. American music at its best. From a professional singer of opera and from around the world who used to despair that American music had never equaled classical, hearing Iris, I take it all back. I can stop trying to decide what last notes will usher me into the great beyond. Give me this voice.
Good morning 🌞 you still make me cry listening to this song iv still got the letter you wrote to me sending you my love and prayers 🙏 from UK England ❤️ God bless you iris and your family.love Diana X ❤️
What a wonderful girl and lady! I love her texts and songs more and more and she has in taken a part of my heart. Her soul seems so near my inner life. There are some common understanding of humanity in her texts, tunes and music. Beautiful, wonderful and talented lady! I feel very happy of your music. THANK YOU!!!
Forgive me my dear angel...You remind me of Mother Maybelle...so sincere a heart in every verse...every sound...I feel the realms of life in every word of every song...
Nanci Griffith, Bruce Springsteen, Guy Clark, Ray Charles, Roy Orbseon, Emylous Harris, Townes Van Zant to name an extra very few are able and excellent lyricists also. In the history of music while Bob Dylan recieved the accolades and deservedly so for his poetic genius, there have been many others from different generations and traditions who wrote and performed wonderful lyrical songs.
There are no guitar videos as of now. There are 2 live videos of her on piano. Here's one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q8ZcsS_qHew.html The other was uploaded by coneyislandgirl.
It's a tribute video to the artist and her magnificent song. A little rudimentary video, but at that time it was all I was able to do. I don't get any kind of benefit, all the credit goes to the artist. Anyway, if the video disapoints the artist I will have no problem removing it.
