Curragh may or may not be a stiffer track than Newmarket but they do not tend to go as fast a pace in the Irish 2000 smaller field size than Newmarket 2000 . Canford Cliffs third at Newmarket breezed home at the Curragh, even the sprint US Navy Flag nearly got home in the Irish 2000

This Rabaah has to be the bet this weekend. Draw is the only slight concern, but it’s been crying out for the minimum trip and has run well enough at York previously. Plenty of form pulling hard over 6F and giving weight to group sprinters last season. Tanked along at HQ last time before fading. It would be a 3/1 in my book drawn low. Royal Pleasure in the first at York huge eye catcher last time, but every man and his dog would have spotted it. Interesting if 8/1 or bigger. I thought Fallen Angel ran better than it looked at HQ 2000G , they won’t tank along as quickly at the Curragh and worth taking a chance if around 6/1 for the Irish 1000G on Sunday. Not an inspiring weekend with the unknown ground situation

Good write up as usual Martyn, thanks. I see Skellet has gone up at 14/1 for the Irish 1,000 so I’m backing that. Busy enough weekend without being spectacular. Shame about the Haydock ground, feel like I’ve said that a few times over the years. Good luck.

Absolutely. Not a lot on. Actually tried to back again at 8 about a week before English guineas but it wouldn’t load into betslip despite actually showing on their site.

@racesnow_ I know I backed him af 12s with them, ages ago since then they have restricted my max bet to 34 pence , absolute jokes bookies these days , you can only have a bet if you are a loser

Only official selections are those with prices available at time of recording. SD flagged the Vadream to me, and the forecast. Fair play. I wouldn’t have mentioned it on the video but SD did. We don’t have enough twitter followers to be putting up selections every day. All hell would break loose when SD tweets one as they are loading at Wolves on a Monday night!
