Thank you mate. I'm currently serving in the German Army and visited Ireland last summer. Great country with nice people. Hope to come back in a few years.

Germany stood with us around the time of the first and second world war, We bought a lot of weapons off Germany as they were enemies of Britain too

@@mark201256 um just saying, think there were a lot more volunteers to fight in the war than take guns from the germans (to cause instability within the UK, rather than out of goodwill) but yeah, sure i dont mind other standing up for us for free, our army gross poopy

@@solitary_sins Back then we didn't have an army, If an Irish man joined the army in that era he either joined the Brits or the IRA, The IRA bought a lot of guns off the Germans. If you've ever heard of the Áud it was a ship sunk by the British navy off the coast of Ireland it was full of German guns for the 1916 Easter Rising. Many believe that's why they failed since most of their guns and ammo was at the bottom of the ocean

@Thicc Boi the worst equipped armies are in the continent of Africa, they still use cold war era weaponry. Ireland purchases high end weaponry and gear for its soldiers who are well trained. It's a defense force, not and offensive based force. You don't win a sniping tournament against groups such as the SAS and SEAL team when you've got bad equipment and poor training.

Seriously who told you that, there are better trained boy scouts.

Germany didn't have a bad past and don't let anyone tell you different. Germany had a noble past and didn't do anything that others wouldn't have done if they were in the same position. Never apologise for your past.

The ottoman empire had our backs back few hundred years ago, we have respect for yous 👊

They send us over ships full of food while we were fighting the brittish, the brittish took most of the stock because they were trying to starve us but the gesture still counts
