That's genuinely the most Irish thing that can be said in that situation. It's amazing how these little moments happen, and we are able to see them years later. Makes me grateful that the Internet exists.
@@seanderoiste4661 the British empire wasn't all bad. You need to educate yourself. It's better than being colonised by the French or Spanish or Mongol empires. Read into it.
@Theodore Tweedie I agree many bad things such as the boer camps and Bengal famine. However there were also many positives such as ending slavery, bringing free trade, technological development, railways, tarmac roads, building, education, the English language, improved health, free speech, the rule of law, and helping to defeat National Socialist Germany.
@@shadynightmare975 I was not correcting the word 'bambino'. Just letting him know we in Italy also use bebe'. Sono cresciuto in Puglia :p Grazie comunque per la chiarificazione
@@pizzapozz7733 for sure, I just wanted to add something to the conversation ahah good man Io ho il padre pugliese, la mamma svizzera e vivo in Toscana 😂 Ciao stammi bene! 🇮🇹
"Shut up or we'll box the head off the two of ye!" I'm going absolutely nuts I'm not over there supporting the lads! The craic is something else altogether and the reception the fans are getting for their behaviour is just as good as what the team are doing on the pitch! Team and supporters, they're both a credit to our country! Last 16 now lads!
@@eyan4329 no, bambino is Italian, un bebe is French there's a distinct difference why settle for good attempt when you can reach higher n better, read learn and you will be better don't ever settle unless your happy just being where you are then fine good luck
@@sit-insforsithis1568 That should've been in quotation marks. I'm just having a laugh because he said "we'll box the head off ya". He was kidding, so am I. We're Irish, it's what we do.
Drunken Irish fans: “ we are going to sing such a sweet song and put this baby to sleep” Meanwhile, all the baby hears is “AGAGAHGHAGAGAHAGAGAHAGHAGAHGHA!!!!!!!” From a mob of drunken strangers surrounding her lol
I'm just reading all the comments, I'm in tears. Tears of joy and pride. Yes I'm proud to be Irish and your all right Ireland is beautiful and steeped in history. From an Irish woman, to the world your all welcome.🇮🇪
Oh God. I love Ireland and the Irish people. I hope one day, 8 to 10 years later, I'm able to move to Ireland and live the rest of my life in this beautiful country, with the much more beautiful and amazing Irish people. Take care, stay safe and healthy! Love, kisses and hugs from 🇩🇪/ 🇹🇷
This French couple and their kid must feel like the luckiest people in the world to have a horde of drunk irish dudes singing their baby lullabies, it seems like a service you'd have to pay for.
@@maire9147 who are you referring to? How is it a racist comment exactly? England and Ireland are nationalities not a race. I’m completely lost at your comment.
Ireland should be automatically allowed to qualify for all football tournaments as we bring humour, fun and respect...... very different contrast to our neighbours across the sea!!!
I see nothing but good come out of Irish soccer fans... I will now drop the English Premier League start watching the Ireland premier league and hope they adopt me as one of their own... now I just have to find a team lol
The irish are the most friendly people i've ever seen! Went to dublin once and it was awesome. I really don't understand why so many people would rather go to Spain or France!
As an Irishman I find this completely patronising and embarrassing. Going along for the sing song like piss heads. Have some integrity and self respect.
This is going to be some story to tell when the baby grows up "Did I ever tell u the time in 2016 when a train full drunk Irish football fans sang u lullabies on the tram" lmao
Awww.. Irish fans are the one we prefer here in France by far, they never cease to amaze us. I propose an eternal qualification for the Irish team for all the events to come. Hooha.
TBH we have a lot of scumbags over here too but for some reason, we have some kind of instinct to behave well enough when we're abroad. Of course, it doesnt always work out that way with a lot of beer but ya ;)
@@criticalmak5329 we have a small minority of scum, mainly in Dublin. But that's the same as any major city. But usually any crap is between people known to each other so tourist are for the most part extremely safe
