Oscar Wilde is Irish Ferries new acquisition for their Dover to Calais route, now the largest and youngest vessel in their English Channel fleet
Originally Spirit of Britain operating for P&O Ferries on the same route, Oscar Wilde had been in service for a week at the time of filming and therefore, still very much a P&O ship other than the renaming of her facilities however, in time, she will be overhauled to reflect the Irish company corporate identity.
On the main deck one will find a large family lounge at the forward end followed by a vast shopping centre, reception, gaming arcade, pub and exterior deck.
Upstairs one will find a cafeteria at the forward end and the luxurious Club Class Lounge at the stern.
