He's the best. Was on the Alaska Cruise this year and became ill. Daniel found out and came to see me in my cabin. I still can't believe it.

Love “Donnell O’Daneil” as my brother calls him…we have seen him many many times in concert whilst touring in Australia…love Mary Duff singing with him too…I’ve lost count of the CDs we have…he is one singer who really cares and appreciates his fans…my favourite song is “These Shoes Keep Walking Back To You”…❤️🎶🇦🇺🇦🇺

What a legend he is and this man is a stepfather and step grandfather because his wife has got a son and daughter from her previous marriage and her kids have got their own children and it’s a shame that Daniel hasn’t got any children of his own

The late great Joe Dolan from Mullingar in Ireland was a rock version of Daniel. He also had hits in the Irish charts every year for decades. He was also a lovely man from a very musical family. He's still sorely missed by many from all over the world. ❤

My dream has always been to visit my grandfather’s homeland which is the same as Daniel’s. My grandfather was John Fouse McBride and he was born in Donegal. When he was 21 months old, his parents migrated to the USA so he had no memory of Ireland but his mom was a great storyteller and through her eyes he had a beautiful picture of his homeland. He passed these memories down to his children and my mom passed them down to us. I have often wondered if he would have been related to Big Tom. I am older now and homebound so I will never be able to see that wish come true but I still have my grandfathers stories of Ireland.
