***** arsehole: the opinion of ppl who are transferred somewhere by the occupation power doesn't count. the autochthonous ppl there don't want the occupation
***** no, the comparison is 100% adequate. occupation and transfer of population are 2 sides of the coin. they are not natives there. you are right that they are xenos (strangers)
***** i think it's a difference if it's about the determination of a territory which is under control of the home country of these (descendants of) immigrants. if northern ireland was re-united with the rest of ireland, these protestant/british minority should have the same rights as the others. but not the right to secede
***** so, would you say then that, say, mexicans in arizona or new mexico have the right to determine about these federal states belonging to usa or mexico then? as long as they have ancestors long enough in usa and make the majority?
Shame on Michael D's children here, they stood with their hands crossed and didn't even sing the anthem, they should be ashamed of themselves disrespecting our Amhrán na bhFiann like that. However, Michael D. is a great man!
🖥I am featuring Irish music on my website. 🗾This time, the feature is in the form of wishing for friendship between Ireland and Japan. 🍻Cheers to friendship between Ireland and Japan. ▽ 🏆The fifteenth world song ・Ireland:Part 2-№5 August 31 ~September 14:[2024]: First Venue⑥

Excuse my ignorance but why take few seconds to start singing when in the irish anthem the lyrics start at the same time than the song (Sorry my bad english :) )
@@catalinacalero740 He's Irish. He's part of our diaspora stationed around the world. It's not his fault his ancestors had to pack their bags and leave.
You cannot possibly be 100% Irish if you live in America. I live in Ireland and I'm not 100% Irish. The only way you can be 100% anything is if you achieve biblical proportions of incest.
@@TMX1138 Nope, the language is just Irish, officially its called Irish in Bunreacht na hÉireann or An Ghaeilge, ‘irish gaelic’ is an american term and it is incorrect
@@evanomairtin1279 well it happened bc gaelic is translated from ghaeilge but gaelic is scottish. u can't really count on americans to do much correct anyway
@@thegreypenguin5097 actually Gaelic is the language family, like Romance or Germanic. It splits into Irish, Scottish Gaelic, and Manx. To avoid confusion the family is often called Goidelic instead, but still there is no one language called gaelic
