David Willis made me the man I am today. His yellow oaker cross strokes & tapping of crimson over Black gesso encourages me to always march toward the Light , instead of the dark. I salute you sir 👏

I love the composition and the tone of the painting, but... isn't the light coming from the far back, so the light and shading on the trees were supposed to be a bit different?

This is the first episode I remember! :D Tempted to recreate with charcoal. I don't trust oil paints with a toddler and a husband who lumps everything in a pile when "cleaning".
