@@jeanettefaye709 It's been five years now, so I'm sure you've had more experience with American Pizza. Now do you see how sht Dominoes is compared to real pizza?
Helen's Muse At least they didn't get those weird American pizza creations again. Still "The Sizzler" was missing green chile and salsa for the sauce, otherwise it's not hot enough, of course that version of it could only be available in the SW part of USA. Only meant for people that like spicy food.
"Domino's is the best pizza in Ireland." Has there ever been a sadder statement spoken? You are *SERIOUSLY* deprived. What's next, White Castle being the best burger? Salt being the spice of choice? PBR being the best beer?
I was stationed over there for 6 months and it really is...their dominoes is WAY better and WAY more a complete pizza than ours over here...our dominoes is more like something you would get out of the frozen food section st the store compared to theirs
Must be very different than Dominos here in Canada. Dominos here is cheap and is basically cardboard with a bit of cheese and pepperoni on it. They could actually skip the dough and put the toppings on the box and no one would know the difference.
Dominos is shit in Ireland aswell. I dunno why they're saying it's the best pizza. Dublin has a load of decent pizza places. But yeah overall Ireland is not a great pizza country.
That was a fantastic Dermot impersonation! But seriously, is Dominos that good in Ireland? Because I had it in Houston, Texas and it was shaite. (No garlic dip there either)
It's best of the chains and according to people from the states I've met that have eaten dominoes in Europe far better and that's down to the European Unions strict food regulations. But local pizzerias are ten times better. I'd only eat it if I had no choice
very sad that they said that dominos is the best pizza in Ireland coming from a person in nj usa, very sad. I might have to start a real pizza parlor in ireland
thatdoodjesus when I was going to chiropractic school in South Carolina in the early 1980s a student did just that, opened a Jersey/Staten Island pizza place and paid for school with the proceeds. They only had a Pizza Hut (ugh).
I always assumed that a NY pizza chef could make just as good pizza somewhere else. But I've been proven wrong more then once. I visited a local pizza shop in phoenix - the dude kept talking about how the owner lived in NY his entire life etc etc. The pizza was no where near as good as NY pizza. I grew up in NYC and i still cant find good pizza outside of that place. It really bothers me.
I’m an immigrant from Belgium but my Italian Grandfather lived with us my whole life. I started Marcello’s Pizza on Castro in San Francisco (Bradley McFadden put up the money but I took a totally empty storefront and turned it into Marcello’s using my Grandfather’s recipe). And if Dominos is the best they have to offer there, I feel very sad for them.
Living near Chicago, I feel so spoiled when I see people who genuinely believe Domino's is good pizza. Chicago deep dish is overrated and not usually ordered by residents. Just regular pizzas from a small but quality pizzeria can be so much better than anything you've ever had before.
Cause "fast food" export/imports expand fast... You can't export small business, or business's in parts of europe where they make pizza. To export actual pizza, wouldn't taste good, I bet $3.50 dominos is right around the corner of their area lol.
@@koilamaoh4238 But the whole point of having the European Union (EU) is for artisans and crafts people to be able to freely cross borders. You'd think an Italian family would have spotted the hole in the market and gone to Ireland. Even my tiny US city has authentic French and Italian restaurants run by chefs from Paris and Tuscany.
@@Hypatia4242 And thats why they are having dominos as a corporation. Wouldn't say they are bad, their pizzas taste good with their seasoning they use, when its made right as with any pizza.
@@dragonstryk7280 ...no it wasn't. It was made in NY by an Italian immigrant who brought the idea from Italy. He didn't create it. Italy has more pizza options than you could dream of including fruits and nuts and shit.
I can't stop laughing after they Keep pronouncing this Incorrectly. As As an American of Mexican descent who speaks Spanish Fluent I find it hilarious.
Okay, this isn't facts fault, but as a Texan born and raised, Dominos can't call that pizza Texas BBQ. Texas BBQ should be Brisket with a savory slightly spicy sauce.
Joseph Stopkey As a Neapolitan I got even offended they called that cardboard covered of cheese (and requiring being dressed too) with the name of pizza.
Little Caeser's did something like that not too long ago: "Smokehouse Pizza" ... "dry rub-like seasoned crust, with a smoky barbecue sauce, brisket, pulled pork, and applewood-smoked bacon."
Pizza must be limited in Ireland. Dominos isn't bad tho, it's very middle of the road. (still better than Little Casaer's, Papa John's, and on par with Pizza Hut)
Everyone ragging on Domino's in the comments lol. I like Domino's, I'm American. It's also loads better than the crap Little Caesar's and Pizza Hut put out.
Pizzaria Pagliacci has been rated Seattle's #1 pizza chain, x years running! --"Pretentious HipsterDouche Magazine" (even before the hipsters, it actually was, proving endlessly that Seattle doesn't know what the fuck it's talking about...it is disgusting pizza.).
Looked up this Pagilacci Pizza place outta curiosity... Butternut Sage pizza? Pear Pizza? Artichoke hearts & goat cheese pizza? Wtf is wrong with people in Seattle if they accept this shit as pizza? I can see the place packed with a bunch of insufferable bearded, man bun, flannel shirt wearing douche bags hipsters
Domino's was Dominick's Pizza but its owner demanded his name back so the remaining owners looked in a phone book and Domino came up! The 3 holes in its TM was for the 3 stores they fitst opened.
Any mom and pop pizza shop could open a chain in Ireland and blow their socks off. I've been to Ireland, and I'm sorry to say, Dominos IS the best pizza there. GOD BLESS AMERICA.🍕🍻
I miss Dominos, and I've worked at a couple. Sadly after just 2 weeks of leaving for college they shut down and that was 15 years ago, back when the chicken kickers were new and we kept getting full boxes to "practice" cooking them (as if running chicken through the oven is any harder lol). About 6-7 years ago I got lucky.. kind of. Had a big storm so we had a big power outage that lasted for a few days so I booked a motel for those days so I could stay clean as my work was very dirty back then. Anyways, what did I see, almost glowing with an aura on the table as I walked into the motel room, a dominos flyer with coupons! Yes! I ordered sooo much that night. This was back when the sandwiches came out and omg they were good. Think I ended up having to puke that night I ate so much lol.
everybody is commenting that Ireland hasn't got great pizza if dominoes is the best, well its not!!!!! its arguably the best of the chains but personally i would only eat it if i had no better choice, luckily for me i have 3 amazing one off pizzerias locally and theres hundreds of great pizzerias all over ireland, so thank you but no need to feel sorry for us if dominoes is the best cause it is nowhere near the best
it’s definitely the best of the big chains, i really like it. i never knew how pretentious some people could be about pizza, but then again i don’t live in new england haha
Out of the national chain pizza places, I would take Papa Murphys ANYDAY over Dominos. Round Table is probably second. Dominos is the I need it delivered in 20 minutes from ordering because I'm super lazy pizza, lol.
Fuck, I love Chick-fil-A! Its the best fast food, by far! Isnt it just the worst feeling when you forget that they are super Christian and closed on Sunday? I live in New York now so I don't get it, but I always make sure I hit up the chick-fil-a whenever I'm in Florida.
All these people hating on Domino's. Am I the only other American who actually loves Domino's pizza and realizes there's more than one store in the nation?
TheEllusionist doesn't matter how many stores there are. They all use the same recipes, food vendors/ingredients, and cooking equipment. That's what makes it a franchise. They're *required* by contract to sell the same crap everywhere. That said, I'll eat it, but to suggest it's the best pizza in America is asinine.
Barley, while yes they are a franchise, there are still individual owners with their own way of leading and meeting standards. And where, in this video or my comment, did I mention it was the best in America? For a fast food, delivery, franchised chain, it's pretty good pizza.
TheEllusionist you're right, you didn't say that. Others are. My bad. And as others have also said, even bad pizza is edible-like dominos. I just can't fathom ordering from them when there are so many more options with better ingredients, made by actual chefs, for just a couple bucks more.
If you're into the stranger cheeses, or would like to give them a try, go for Philly steak and feta on their garlic parmesan base sauce. (Edit, maybe add some green onion while you're at it.)
Love the channel. I guess if I ever catch covid and lose the use of my tasetbuds then I'll order me a Dominos. Until then .. continue to make them myself
O.o I still can’t get over the fact that, that dude ate the chick’s pizza crusts. Are these guys all bffs or something? I have never seen people so comfortable eating like this
When I was a kid my uncle was a delivery driver for Domino's in the city. I was fascinated because I'd never had Domino's before as a small kid in a small town. I asked him out it tasted and he said. "Eh...like cardboard with ketchup on it." I'm now 44-years-old. This hasn't changed. Also, Papa John's is terrible.
I have traveled far and wide and Jet's Pizza has the best deep fried crust I have had. I've had lots of great pizza, even some better than Jet's overall, but the Jet's crust is the best I have experienced.
Rushil Kapoor Am not dumb. Am speak good English. U must are from some backwater 3rd world country based on you grammar. Domino's is American brand. Enjoy and give America more money.
WOW those reviews though!! I Just googled it and it's #4 out of #2,380 top restaurants in Bostin by ratings on Trip Adviser. (Not a secret ad, i've never been, but it must be fucken good)
Did someone say that Domino's Pizza is "too expensive?" I don't know if there is a cheaper pizza in America outside of Little Caesar's, Costco or the frozen section of your local supermarket.
Imagine how they would react if they actually tried a good pizza. It would probably be something like "What the hell, we've been paying Domimo's to give us crap pizza all these years".
