Chicken dipped into ketchup is quite delicious. Every Irish person can tell you they had more than likely grew up eating various styles of chicken dipped into ketchup along with chips (fries). KFC is classed as a fast food restaurant here (I don't know about the US) but if we wanted mashed potatoes with gravy, we cook it at home or go to standard restaurant. Each country has their own specialities or share the same specialities so don't try to point out we're all dumb af.

KFC does have fries in the states (or at least used to). I have seen them on the menu in every state I have visited. While I haven't been to many states, it does seem like it is a regular item on the menu in the states. I also have noticed that many fast food places in the states have regular items that for some reason aren't on the menu, that you have to just know about them. The fries at KFC, however, is on the menu at every KFC in the U.S. I have been to. They actually have a thicker batter than most fries from other places, with some spices in it (kinda like Popeye's fries). Having said that, I haven't ordered the fries at KFC in a long time. So, I am wondering if they have replaced them with the potato wedges.

Leah Lasher I live in central Indiana, no fries at the KFC's I have been to either. I'm not sure I would dig the gravy n fries. Now, I do like the chicken basket from Dairy Queen. And the fries go well with the pepper gravy from there. That actually may be the only gravy I even like. Seems like Americans always want to drown everything in some form of gravy or sauce. I like to actually taste the flavor of my food.

Depends where you live, in any KFC i've had in the US i think there's fries in maybe half of them. Usually they have just the wedges though. I never get them though (or at least rarely, even given that I rarely eat KFC as is.) Coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, and biscuits is all I ever get with the chicken.

I can't eat a chicken nugget, I refuse to in fact. In order to make a nugget, take a mechanically separated chicken, put it in a blender until it's a pink goo, pour on a conveyor belt, deep fry, batter, deep fry all the taste out, freeze, then ship it out to KFC's worldwide, bleh!

Harland Sanders (the "Colonel" was honorary) thought up a new way to cook fried chicken using a pressure cooker, which allowed him to cook the food in less time than the traditional pan-fry method. He traveled around the country offering his recipe to restaurant proprietors (unlike McDonald's and other fast-food chains, Sanders licensed his product to established restaurants). He made the rounds of establishments serving his food, making sure it was being prepared properly. He put chicken on the map as a rival to hamburgers. Of course, the nod for best chicken sandwich goes to Chick-fil-A, a chain originated by S. Truett Cathy, who started out at the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia.

Charizarzar yeah, I know. Europeans tend to eat healthier food more wholesome food, I get that. But I live literally right below Kentucky in Tennessee and that sandwich doesn't exist here and we never put ketchup on chicken only fries and the fries you get at KFC are actually potato wedges and the popcorn chicken are like inconsistent fritters and not uniform like those and we only put gravy on mashed potatoes. I've been to Europe and I loved the food by the way especially real Italian and Spanish food.

We can all do shots of the gravy, its the only reason people still go to KFC after it became a corporate sheitbag of cutting corners and serving people the cheapest chicken they can get. KFC use to be a place where you'd go after a sports game to sit and celebrate with your friends and everyone loved it... Not anymore
