Irish people taste-test Cajun-Creole food! Make sure they try shrimp creole, crawfish etoufee, red beans & rice with andouille sausage, seafood gumbo and jambalaya! Plus some beignets for dessert! And make sure Blarg is there for that episode! I know her name isn't pronounced like that, but she's my fav so it's a term of endearment!

Watching people have slow smoked meats and BBQ for the first time or those who live where its not common, is the most amazing thing to watch. It literally makes me smile. Watching them freak out over pulled pork on the nachos was just the best thing ever.

This message is to the dark haired lady with the striped shirt. When your hair was tucked behind your left ear it reminded me of my wife. When she and I met, she was wearing a surgical cap with her hair tucked up and her ears sticking out. She always hated that hat because she hated her ears from the years of teasing. One day she shared those memories with me and without thinking I replied, "but that's what made you stand out to me. It's like you were a little elf with blue eyes". I then reminded her of exactly where we met, where we were standing, and what we were wearing and that I most remembered her elvish ears and blue eyes. She nearly cried.

She even tells people that story. We met at the hospital where we bother worked, inside elevator #2, I was on the right and she was on the left pushing a medical supply cart. We had been talking about why she was depressed. Her dog was having health problems and that was the day she decided it was time to put her down. I'm horrible with names so when I exited the elevator I said her name to myself over and over again until I could write it down. I tried to find excuses to visit her department when she was working. One day she called me at home and asked if I'd like to go to a pet supply store with her as a first date. She brought her new dog, a two year old chihuahua named Katie, to see if we'd get along. Katie is now 15 and has an enlarged heart and passes out if she gets too excited. I'm still at the same hospital but my wife can't work due to multiple spinal problems. Katie had been her comfort dog and now they comfort each other.

I remember the first time I made nachos for my English boyfriend, lol. Asda had no canned refried beans, so, made them from scratch. Used Mexicana cheese, he was hooked! A year later, Asda got a full line of Old El Paso products, he bought a case of refried beans, lol!

The nachos were invented in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, bordered by eagle passTexas and from there they moved to all mexico and texas and then all USA. Once a year they make a fair of the nacho in black stones. The nachos carry chilli dog, cheese, jalapeño and also you can add carne asada and guacamole.

Today Friday, Saturday and Sunday October 15 is the party of the nacho in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. The fair or party of the nacho is located in around the walk of the river or brave river. There are Nachos of all tastes. nachos with cheese, carne asada, al pastor, with shrimp, etc. Live music and mechanical games, concerts, etc .

Only thirty or forty years old, but nachos became a national rage almost overnight. Its the blend of hot, cool, cheesy, crunchy and beany. Guacamole and sour cream are nearly mandatory. Corn tortillas are segmented and deep fried to create the crunchy corn chips. A national favorite from the Tex-Mex cuisine. Pickled jalapenos and sliced black olives are a wonderful inclusion.

Nachos were made in Piedras Negras, Coahuila a city in Mexico that is bordered by the small town of Eagle Pass, Texas. We have "Dia del Nacho" which literally translates to "Day of the nacho".
