A lovely fan, Stella, sent us a package of Danish snacks a while ago that first started the trend of Irish people coming face to face with the salty liquorice candy! She decided to send another package, this time treating us to a selection of Dracula liquorice candy! Dracula is quite close to home with Irish people so surely, this would be a lovely match for our TRYers, right? Let's find out!

I love them all, I do, but Ciara is my absolute favorite. She does the heat challenges (among any challenge) like it's nothing! I thought this might have been a heat challenge (sort of) but it was hard to tell. I've noticed that it's very rare that Ciara doesn't like something, but I think there were 2 flavors in here she did not like.

I'm from Denmark and LOVE these sweets - especially the hard candy with the powder inside! This video makes me think of a time I brought salty liquorice (this being djungelvrål and super piratos) to work when I lived in London. One of my colleagues and I tricked everyone else into believing it was cola flavoured sweets and the reaction was absolutely priceless 🤣🤣

My late father in law was Dutch and he absolutely loved salty licorice lol My mother in law warned me. If papa asked you if you want a piece of licorice say no dear lol Thet were salty black cats. I loved them. But only a few. They hurt my mouth. I craved it with extra crunchy peanut butter when I was pregnant. Geez I miss my inlaws. They were lovely 😍 and cancer took them both from us. I have a jar of tiny licorice diamonds that are slightly salty and slightly menthol flavored. They are nice on a sore throat

I've noticed in Denmark that kids are usually from one of two groups: The first group likes licorice right from the start and the other require some time to get used to it, but usually from around 12-13 years old, everyone likes it. It's honestly really shocking for me that people don't like it, I love it, and most danes do.

@@siwoc So I know of Nørboro in Copenhagen,Odense and Randers near Aarhus. Driving-wise how far from the first 2 places. I do know that Fyn, Jutland and Zealand are VERY different from each other. Bornholm is,Historically,just not nice to Sweds which scary me because I normal see Danes in a extremly positive light. 😄

@@mamarebe9830 only about 10 minutes away in transport. The swedes and danes have a long history of fighting. And fighting side by side. We are actually quite nice people.

I loved all of the comments people posted. Whenever I see Paddy Murphy I'm thinking Buddy Movie. He's like EVERYONE's best friend. I swear you could pair him with anyone. And he would instantly make the room balanced. He's SO much fun!! And Irish Jesus totally lives up to his moniker. He is just a joyful person,... for no good reason.
