Irish Rail 071 Class Locos working Tara Mines Trains between Navan & Dublin Port.
Sadly the Tara Mines operations ceased in September 2023 due to the mine being closed (Temporarily).
At present it is unknown if these trains will start operating again when the mine is reopened so time will tell if this is going to be yet another freight train operation to be consigned to the history books.
