Great video! That's a lot of two cars to make a 8 car set!

Thx Tony, yeah they looked strange nowadays with the ICR/29000s being 4-car sets, the 2600/2800s are all split up now working WRC/Nenagh and Ballina branches.

Superb video Ciarán, I'd give an arm and a leg for gricing on the Northern Line to. be like this still! Cement, Orange & Black and 2800s! You got some lovely shots of the Enterprise too:)

Thx Seán, in 2008/9 I spent a lot of time shooting the northern line just to get the ordinary midday Taras, but I very rarely got cement and it was always a bonus. I recorded 2800s out of boredom but looking back I'm glad I bothered now that they're gone from Dublin!

Another great video as expected Ciaran, love that shot of the Cement train rounding the curve there at the end of the platform, there also seems to be a good vantage point on the footbridge, I might go out there to film myself sometime.

Thx Stephen, was waiting for the usual Tara and the cement turned up so I was lucky to have been standing there, notice how the wagons 'bounce' over the bump too! The footbridge I shot from is gone now and replaced by one of the taller ones so you may need steps!

Jesus you were lucky there, and just looking at the video now I can just about see them bouncing away, the Cravens are known to do that as well. And why did they get rid of the old footbridge?

irish rail trains I was almost caught out with the southbound Tara too, I had camera setup on footbridge for the 13:20 Enterprise, heard the announcement and waited, only for me to hear an 071 from behind, I swung the camera around and what you see is literally what I got! The footbridge was one of the old Victorian ones they took from another station, it had no lifts so it was replaced like all the others on the northern line.
