Thinking that Paul was Anne's "son" totally got you to draw out the ideas in a skewed manner.....and yeah your reactions weirded me out and with I guess the rest of the viewers.... hope you do another vid react of this understanding it this time in the CORRECT CONTEXT....
7:52 Ann wasn't the one who said "He's gone, My son is gone" it was her mother who said it. You can see a woman standing on the right, that was paul's Mother.
I’m surprised and disappointed you both missed the whole twist. The screenplay starts eccentrically from jumping back and forth into the present and past and between the two characters Paul and Jay. Paul died four years ago, but Ann couldn’t fully get over his death. All this time, Paul is just a memory from her past romantic relationship and Jay is Ann’s new suitor. You have to pay close attention to the details to get this one.

Not sure if you get the story, Paul is Ann college sweetheart and they get along really well and he knows her deeply.. but once Ann starts working in a company, she meets Jay, who tries his best to help her. At Jolibee, Jay understands that Ann has someone in her heart and still wants to be there for her. in hospital scene (the past) Paul’s mom is telling Ann.. “my son had aneurysm; the doctors did their best but my son is gone") Ann has been keeping Paul in her heart for 4 years since Paul’s passing.. but she is finally getting closure and ready to love again - Jay as her new love.
Guys ...watch the (4 years ago) scene again. The person who said "My son is gone" was Paul's Mother. She was explaining to Ann how Paul died. Ann was Paul's girlfriend at that time.

Paul was not the son but the her ex lover who died 4 years ago that she's been holding on to for so long. That's why it took Jay 4 years to actually help her move one from Paul's death. You didn't notice the silhouette of the mom speaking to the girl about Paul's death.
how can you tell that it's her son? they graduated together and there's a lot of moments that they can't be a mother and son bonding. hahaha. Also, when 4 years ago was shown as flash back, you can see that Paul's mom was actually talking in front of Ann her head shows on the right side.
The only flaw of the ad is the "my son" part. It should've briefly showed the mom's face telling Ann that "my son is gone." Beautiful otherwise though.
Ahhh you guys didnt get it. Oh well, not everyone easily gets the story when watching movies/tv shows. But why would someone even think "Paul is her son" when you see her and Paul went to graduation together. Also, lower the volume of your laptop or use earphones and increase the volume of your mic so people can hear you clearly. :)
