THE FLUFF:
Irn-Bru, also known as "Iron Brew", is a Scottish soda with a distinctive sweet and fruity flavor that's hard to describe. Some say it tastes like cream soda with lots of citrus, while others say it's undefinable and has notes of ginger, orange, candy floss, lemon, and rhubarb. Some even say it tastes like bubblegum or peach soda.
Irn-Bru's original secret recipe includes 32 flavoring agents, including caffeine and quinine, and two controversial colorings. The soda has been around since 1901, and has been the subject of a taste debate in Scotland.

After seeing the Irn Bru Christmas commercial parody of "The Snowman", I ordered some sugar-free Irn Bru from Amazon. Tasted like bubble gum to me. I liked it.

Maybe it tastes like iron girders? lol Hey thank you for coming back with the analogy! I grew up with lots of odd European "orange" sodas...but I don't like when the flavor is weak and I mostly taste the carbonation.

Being Scottish I drink Irn Bru every day. Girders are iron supports as in like the Firth Rail Bridge. This comes from an advert about 40to50 years ago. And NO there is NO IRON in the drink. Enjoy 😉

reviewed this many many many years ago, it wasn't bad, i don't remember hating it, but it is also not something i want to try again. btw, today got me a CANADA DRY CREAM SODA, i was so sad to know, it doesn't taste the same as in the last time i tried it, it used to taste like liquid flan, now it tasted like a flat sugar water and was so sad that i threw away half of it in the sink. i really am not happy lately about drinks, tried G FUEL after many years of looking for it, and was nothing but dissapointed on how horrible it tasted. 1 drink is left in the fridge, a BLUE MOUNTAIN DEW, hope it is good.

I didn't get her name, but it was the Publix on 23rd, so I'm assuming it's her. There's probably not a lot of Scotts there. ;)

Drink is rubbish since they removed sugar and replaced with sweeteners getting real annoyed with ppl showing irn brew the drink doesn't exist to me Use to enjoy it years ago
