Crit rate is for max damage and hit. It not help to increased damage. Critical Damage like aunoe or any card that has a critical damage +10% etc is the one who raised the damage of cross impact.
I agree with the critical damage increase part, but crit rate is needed (at least 200 for Cross Impact) to crit the skill 100% chance. If you try a Cross Impact build with crit rate 50 you will see some significant dropped in damage due to this damage is not a critical one, so indirectly speaking crit rate helps to set the skill as a critical damage.
@@GrimFlayer yeah because you need to hit. If your hit rate is high like on dex you can achieved a max damage on long range. Luk stands hit for melee atk like CI
