[iRO Thor] Endless Tower Arch Bishop solo till top (No deaths) 

Thanks! I've been planning to do this when I noticed I can consistently kill Valkyrie Randgris in Central Laboratory. I just had doubts if I can pull it off within 4 hours (Endless Tower time limit) using Judex to clear mobs since Rebalance Patch wasn't in iRO yet at that time.

in kRO , solo is just for early leveling stages or to clear way weaker dungeons , u still need party to clear the last 2-3 dungeons in patch , it's impossible to clear it solo no matter what ur gears are . but idk in other servers since i've never played it

and as far as i know , endless tower is a really old content wasnt it ? putting well geared arch bishop in endless tower is just like being an assassin in prontera maps

@@carlbianzon7711 LOL for real? I had no notion they were still making new content for this game. I feel like they need to stop. The core systems are way too antiquated and the game is too grindy. I'd only play RO again if they a) fixed the horrible movement glitches and b) found a way to actually reward you with end game level benefits that are guaranteed over time, but also capped so players can't just put more hours (or use bots) to gain benefits well over the rest. Zeny should only go so far to make you look better, but marginally perform better. The higher skilled player should win. Several systems and economy systems together need to change to make this possible. FFXIV is a great model of end game currency rotation, weekly rate limit, capacity limit, spend that currency on something. Essentially at X amount of weeks, you should be able to gear up to current level end game gear just like everyone else, and only people running much much harder content may have marginally better gear but even they aren't getting it much more rapidly than once a week. I don't know how to fix the rare card drop grind issue RO has. That one can stay maybe.

I highly recommend to have an anti-knockback gear. Unless you have positioned yourself properly against a wall, your party will be in trouble if you get pushed away by a monster skill. While using Mental Strength, your move speed is reduced so you won't be able to catch up immediately. Currently the two best anti-knockback equips in iRO for tanks are Siegfried's Helmet [1] and Etran's Undershirt[1]. Siegfried's Helmet has anti-knockback, boss reduction and even perfect dodge. Etran's Undershirt on the other hand has anti-knockback, bonus maxHP and goes well with Deviling Card coz it removes the +50% elemental damage penalty. For accessory, wear Ring of Resonance. Its autocasts include Assumptio, Heal and Quagmire which adds to your tanking ability and slowing monsters down. Other equips will depend on the situation... just focus on anti-knockback first.

There are so many new games in PC with better graphics to attract the youth. With the age of mobile gaming, the competition is even harder for Ragnarok Online to stay relevant. Also it’s not only Ragnarok Online that aged. We did as well. Back then we can play as a party because we had common free time (after school, weekends). Today most of us are grown up and free time varies from person to person since we have more responsibilities now.

Dude. I get your point about renewal classes being overpowered now. But please don't make it sound like it's an easy thing to solo Valk/Bee/Ifrit in this vid using an AB. It's not like I'm one-hitting them here. You're calling out the wrong class. I was literally running for dear life against Ifrit for 8 minutes (4min x2 since vid is on ff). And I'm not even using damage skills on Valk/Bee. I just made it work by thinking of a build that can survive. Ragnarok is fun. You are able to experiment on different builds that may or may not work, like this one. Who would've thought a LUK build AB can work? But if your mindset is stuck on "a certain meta" then it really won't be "fun" for you.

I think his point might be that a support class should NEVER be able to solo late/endgame content. I also think like that and i would add that even with dmg classes being capable to go further, they also shouldn't be able to solo endgame content because that makes a "team focused game" pointless.

renewal is definitely more towards solo play instead of group play, back then we need certain strat to kill mvp, certain comp, but in renewal everyone with almost every job can solo shit if played right, sooo yeah, solo players might find it more fun, but as for me and maybe OP, renewal system is not fun

For this video I used Gambler's Seal + Heart Card in Mouth combo to get Flat +4 ASPD, then 90 AGI to get ASPD bonus from Anemos Shield and ASPD enchant on Temporal Luck Boots. For buffs, Canto Candidus, Adrenaline Rush Scroll and Concentration Potion. But this is an old video where Ancilla skill hasn't been updated yet so I resorted to kill Valkyrie using crit-pdodge build. Right now, this is inefficient and obsolete. After some updates, Adoramus became AoE and can change to neutral property if Ancilla is used. Which means Valkyrie Randgris is a lot easier to kill now using a caster-type Archbishop.

1. True. Full Support isn't too gear-dependent. You'll manage even with normal gears just make sure to stay out of reach of the monsters. Stat build would be easier also since you just need to focus on INT (for SP), DEX (for casting) and VIT (for survival). But I suggest to make a Merchant first... just enough to learn Level10 Overcharge to get extra money for your loots. 2. I don't suggest Adoramus for ep 14.2 since you'll only have 49 skill points to allocate. You'll be either missing Silentium or Adoramus (since Sacrament is a must to max and has a lot of prerequisites). Silentium is an awesome skill for Full Support when you're in Bio4. It increases your survival drastically. Once ep 14.3 comes, you'll have an additional 10 skill points to allocate so you can max Adoramus if you want. But one thing to note is that equips that increase Adoramus damage are expensive.

Sorry didn't see numbers 3 & 4 3. There's actually a cheap option if you want equips that can boost your Adoramus damage. But you'll have to grind Mora Coins via quests to complete the Judgment Set. The damage increase is actually good. The downside is that the armor, robe and shoes are not slotted so your defensive options are limited. Adoramus equips end game are expensive. You'll want to get a +10 Valkyrie Hammer [4] carded with 4x True Margaretha Cards for starters. As the game progresses, other Adoramus boosting gears will be introduced. 4. End game late game becomes absurd since new overpowered equips will be added in the game and yes, practically everyone can solo MVP's. This is why I switched to a hybrid build so I can explore the world of Midgard whenever and wherever I please. But there will be a future episode wherein the MVP's will be buffed to have a barrier that reduces damage by 90%. Once this is applied to the game, full support AB's will be in demand again. Even without this, Full Support AB's are still important in War of Emperium. I'm from Philippines, currently playing iRO in Thor server.

The problem is that the game is old so most players already have their own lives/families to live. You can’t just decide the “true essence” of the game based on how you played it in the past. How about those who play at home? They don’t count right, because according to you, they need to play in a net cafe to grasp the true essence of ragnarok? This is meaningless gatekeeping. People find ways to have fun- whether playing with friends, playing solo for challenge, farming to sell items, etc. If you are stuck with the past, you will not enjoy the present and cannot adjust for the future.

It’s quite sad people dismiss how difficult it was for an Arch Bishop (in 2019) to finish this Endless Tower without any skill rebalance just because “GTB was used”. Just watch how hard it was to kill Valkyrie Randgris. GTB alone cannot carry you unless you know what you are doing.

Yes, otherwise it will be extremely hard to do a no-death run using an Arch Bishop. I was actually planning on doing a no-boss-card run but changed my mind after they implemented the Green-Aura to MVP’s. It’s still possible to do but will require a lot of resources.

You can use this to max Resurrection if you want, or maybe get Gloria. For 3rd job skills, basically I maxed out Adoramus, Sacrament and Canto Candidus. Which leaves 10 skill points to allocate. In this video, I used 5 each on Oratio and Duple Light to max both. But I changed my skill build when I got a Sacred Crown so I used the 10 skill points instead on Clearance and the Laudas.

That's exactly how someone who didn't stay long to try 3rd jobs would say. No. You can't do everything solo with 3rd jobs even when it was first released in 2008. That's why there were a lot of skill reworks and a couple of level cap increase. But still wasn't enough, so they started adding OCP items in 2017 and this is when some classes started to outshine others. So from 2008 to 2017, that's a whole 9 years of doing hard instances with 3rd job parties. And that's a generous estimation since the first batches of OCP's aren't for every class. Even in this video I had to be creative with the use of OCP gears which aren't suited to my class. It took 3 years of planning and countless trial-and-errors just to survive Valkyrie Randgris. Today there are dungeons that still need 4th job parties to finish because they're extremely hard even with fully-geared members. Let's stop this nonsense about Classic vs 3rd Class debate on which is better. Both are good in their own right. The REAL reason why Ragnarok Online's population is dwindling is because it's an old game with old graphics. Most (if not all) of the players are the same ones playing it 10-20 years ago. I hate to say this but there's little to no chance of getting "new blood" to play this game for the simple reason that there are a lot of games out there with better graphics. And with the era of mobile gaming, it's already a miracle that Ragnarok Online still manages to exist.

I can't give advice on levelling from 1-150 using this build as my AB was already 150 when migrated from pRO to iRO when pRO was discontinued... monsters and PVE mechanics in pRO were extremely outdated at that time. As for levelling up from 150-175, you need to ask yourself first how you want to do it: 1. Do you want the "fun" way but takes a lot of time, or 2. Do you want the "efficient" way that will max you up quickly? If your answer is 2 (this was actually the choice I made), I strongly suggest that you stick with parties and be the support. With my build, you should have decent heal and SP pool. Just stay out of enemies' reach since your casting time will be mediocre at best. If your answer is 1, you need to invest on equipment that will boost your damage on most (if not all) of the monsters in the map you're going to stay on (if you are taking the path of battle AB, you should maintain 193ASPD and 70-90 PDodge). Monsters at this level use strong skills and have massive HP's so you need to finish them off quickly. Edit: Removed the part where I mentioned Clearance can strip Assumptio/Reflect Shield. They fixed this already after the Rebalance Patch.

@@MonoAii 120LUK is needed to get additional bonuses from Temporal Luk Boots (+30% Crit Damage) and Gambler Seal + Heart Card in Mouth combo ( ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=re_item_db&comid=725 ). I need perfect dodge also so I can survive Valkyrie Randgris and Beelzebub anyway so that's hitting 3 birds with 1 stone :)

If you try to use “Replay” mode and set the speed to x2, it’s bound to skip some frames. It’s even worse on x4.

For GX, RK, Sura and Ranger, yes. For AB, no. This class had it worst. I had to make use of a pre-renewal concept (perfect dodge) just to make this work because of Valkyrie Randgris.

@@carlomartinez197 At the time when this video was created, it was deemed impossible for an Arch Bishop to solo Endless Tower because of the attribute mismatch with Valkyrie Randgris. This was only possible because I thought hard enough to create a LUK-hybrid type. I only did this out of love for the class to push its limit. I repeat- no one has done this prior to this attempt because everyone thought it was impossible. See, here’s the problem why people stopped being creative. People stay away from a difficult problem and don’t bother to think of a solution. Then when someone makes a breakthrough and break the odds, people treat it as if everyone can pull it off any day. To answer your question what the point of playing mmorpg if I can do this, well I would really prefer doing it with a party to finish 3 times faster. No one would be crazy enough to solo Endless Tower for 3 hours and 30mins if they can finish faster with a party.

Yes, but I’m pressed for time so I tend to skip some buffs. At the time of this video, Magnus still cannot be used on non-demon/undead monsters so I had to use Judex. This video is 1hr 49min long in x2 speed so the actual run took around 3hrs 30+mins. If I exceeded 4hrs, I’ll be kicked out so I tried to save time whenever I can.
