Thank you. Roomba was only running for 15 minutes. You saved me $400 on a new one. Replaced battery and my it works great and runs for a little over 1 hour.!

I know this is an old video, but those tabs you stuck down the sides of the battery compartment, (3:35) are meant to be folded on top. They're the tabs to help you pull the battery out!

I don't know what is happening to my Roomba. When I try to turn it on, it makes a clicking noise and does not light up or greet us. When we charge it, it constantly goes into a 16 hour refresh rate charge and then says an Error 7

ok let me try to help: error #7 happens when the battery is too hot , 1) make sure you charge the roomba in a cool environment . 2) if number 1 wasn't the case i guess you need to replace the battery - why ? , each battery comes with a voltage sensor and an over temperature sensor, it might be that you sensor is defected therefore you need to replace the whole battery . if you want to show support please sign in to my " iRobot master " channel.

An Error 5 would be a bad battery or motherboard? Won't fully charge either with homebase or cord into the side...

I got 595 and after 4 year the battery lasts 35 min then turns to orange. I guess it's dying since I rarely use it. Is there a difference between NiMH and Ni-Cad and is my battery R3 I kept seeing R3 on amazon, which battery would you recommend. I saw one with 3800mAh! how many mAh is the stock one maybe 3800 can clean longer?! thanks for your help.
