Yep! in fact in the url to the director's site, the folder for the HTML was called Ironblud. Was also supposed to get a Saturn version that was canceled.

And that's why re-playing games later in life is a good thing; a fresh perspective and a more laid-back opinion due to wisdom and age allows previous opinions to be changed. The opening dialogue in this video may as well be a eulogy for the old Jason's views. : )
I think all I remember of playing this one was a PSX/PC demo. had some interesting ideas for sure but I don't think it held a candle to the other games already out there from capcom/snk/sega/etc.
