Fun video!!! If I could suggest, Next time you make dumplings maybe try minced raw fish instead of steaming it first ... Might help with the texture. They looked amazing 😋😁
I'm glad that I found you, Will! These two videos (you and Aaron) were just great entertainment! They were so low-key that I felt a part of the group! I loved that! Thanks to all of you there for the "contest"!
@@CookingWithClams Didn't want to leave out Madeline in any way! My bad, but I see her role in all of this and she is an amazing part of the team! It goes a lot further than that of course with Aaron being her love, but for RU-vid sake, I really appreciate all of what you guys do together! It is a Special thing that you guys have 100% 👊👊👊
Both dishes looked phenomenal, very different and unique. Erin might consider adding some roasted pecans on top for contrast and texture. Roasted nuts just add that finishing touch. Keep the videos coming, l really enjoy watching you cook. Bon Appetit.
I have watched every one of the videos you both have aired (some multiple times), I really enjoy seeing how competitive the two of you can be with one another. I hope that this can become a series that you guys produce more frequently. Everyone that participated & viewed the 2 videos walked away winners!! Thank you guys for sharing!
This was amazing, I’m a new subscriber from Aaron’s channel. Next time the judges need to come in after the food is plated so they can judge it blindly. They need to score not knowing who cooked what then you know for sure it’s not biased. Food looked amazing! ❤️
Fantastic! I had a smile on my face throughout this double episode. You guys might want to consider raffling off the opportunity to be a guest judge on your next Iron Chef Challenge.
Loved this!! I was drooling over both dishes. I was seeing the dumplings as my appetizer & grouper as the main course. Since Aaron has the advantage of the boat, you should have the opportunity to buy at least some of your protein. A mixture of fish, lobster & stone crab dumplings would be killer!!
Aaron’s dish looks so decadent. One of those plates you really don’t want to know what went into it, but I know it was delicious. Really fun mellow vibe here! Good job.
When you crack the shells with a spoon.....you are a mantis shrimp!!!! Sweet potato is a sugar/butter/maple/marshmallow delivery device.... I call shenanigans!! Good job guys!!
Aaron, A cheap black rubber door mat on top of your cutting board. The best hack ever. The fish stays put, no slipping. Cleans with just a few shakes in the water. Take it on the boat..... Turns any flat surface into a cutting board. Nice clip. AGAIN. Thanks.
Will…You guys are awesome!!! I’m a true fan but… Aaron cooks like I do! I put butter on everything!!! Real butter! I would luv to have been there to try everything!!! I ALL looked so damn good!!!!! Great to see you back in KeyWest !!!!! 😊👍
Awesome job both of y'all made beautiful plates they looked delicious that grouper key west waterman caught was beautiful tks for the video y'all take care.
I Always watch BOTH channels and love them both equally !!!! Love that yall are friends and Madelline cracks me up with how much she loves too eat !!!! Keep up the great videos !!!!
Jk . You did a great job to Will . Really love watching alot of your recipes . Bit the dishes were better than my roast beef from The Cracker Barrel Lol 🤣
I think the dumplings would have worked if you used some chopped Napa cabbage, shitake mushrooms, soy sauce, and julienned carrots, and you are missing the main ingredient for gyoza, dark sesame oil. I know people have mixed feelings on their dumplings (some things can be fighting words). If you are judging sea food don't have a judge who doesn't like fish. Never have someone like me judge sushi or sashimi, I was stationed in Japan for 12 years, married to a Japanese woman yet never acquired the taste unless it was extremely mild and accompanied by a lot of Kirin Lager. I do love smoked salmon sushi (nowhere near raw fish) and sushi rice which I can eat stand alone. The videos were awesome thanks a lot Will and Aaron!
So when I’m picking the fish you’ll notice I had Napa cabbage there. I decided not to put it in for some reason. And the chili oil I put on was hot sesame oil actually! I appreciate the critique! And hey if you can convince someone who doesn’t like fish to eat it…. You win
awesome collab! both dishes look amazing. usually skip the "cook" parts of the vids, but you guys made it fun to watch and I learned some new things! def will watch more of your content!
Wow this was an incredible episode 👏 I think next time you should compete with the same ethnicity of food or a theme. But all the same guidelines. I think that would be exciting
Make a time limit. Iron Chef is organized madness. Plus more courses would add elements of no planning. a twist would be fun. From two small channels great job guys. 👏 A add on to the catch and cook.
New to your channel. I found you through Key West Waterman Aaron Young. I'm loving the cook offs!!! Keep doing what you're doing and we'll keep watching
👋Well.... Aaron knows me a little bit. And I have wached yuo "the clam is back" (lol) for about 4 months or more. This is so good that I can wach this al day long and night‼️ I wish I was there 🐠🐟🐡🦈⚘️⚘️⚘️❤️
Glad to see you made it back to Key West and though I’m going to miss seeing Mamma Clams, it’s great to see you & Aaron back at it. This video was absolute fun! My face hurts from smiling for 30 minutes straight. BTW, and for the record, Aaron’s heavy handed use of butter was borderline cheating….. Butter and bacon should be banned from these competitions.
@@CookingWithClams Ya man the dough was spot on and you taught me a new way to crimp the edges. Defiantly nailed the crispy bottoms for flavor as well. Will essentially made a sugar bomb with his sweet potato and maple syrup which would be hard to battle with ,especially not knowing what dish was to be made ...next Iron Chef battle same fish same sides... I challenge you...
I probably would have called a tie. Will won on plating. Aaron won on taste because of texture. You tied on creativity Aaron with the syrup and crab meat, and Will with the homemade dough. 😋 Wish we could have been the judges. Next time the judges can't see anything, a real blind test. Bring the judges in two the plates sitting on the table and no talking to them until they are done judging.
You guys all do a amazing job. Good friendships, laugh smile together that’s what life is about. Love you guys. Keep the videos coming Key West waterman cooking with clams. You guys are both winners.
