I know right, you can tell they have a good relationship, I’ve seen other people who completely look like they’re at each other’s throats behind closed doors. They genuinely seem happy.
They actually do adapt to heat through their job to the point where some chefs don’t even use oven gloves and just grab hot trays with their bare hands, it’s nuts
As someone that worked in the kitchen I can attest over time your fingers build up a resistance to heat. At the start I couldnt touch the plates under the heat lamp by the end I was grabbing a stack of them.

It's crazy watching a real Chef do something amazing like this. Then you've got Salt Bae out there somewhere serving people a slab of meat and charging 2k because he cuts it like a weirdo.
@@rendogisawsome762 He means the dude has all of the ingredients you'd have in a kitchen that you definitely wouldn't just have in the wild. He has knives, tools to mix the ingredients, etc. Dude just brought his kitchen essentials next to a creek. There was basically no real challenge and there'd be no difference had he just done this in his usual kitchen.

I met him when i was still in chef school..i believe they were using one of the rooms to film. He was so humble and very sweet to us, compared to most chefs in this industry, he spent some time asking us questions and answering ours. My friend who used to work at his resto. wouldn't stop fanboying over him. XD (I don't work as a chef anymore, switched to web dev.) But this person has made such an impact in that short interaction we had.

My best friends family growing up was Greek, and his father was an AAC chef, traveling competition chef, and the dean of the culinary institute at the local college. He’s a beast of a chef. I’ll never forget him casually testing hot oil with his fingers

I still can’t believe this guy just has SUSUR LEE AS HIS DAD!!!!! Like what an amazing person to have as your parent. As a Torontonian, I’ve always read and heard about his restaurants and whenever one opened, it was a pretty big deal.
