Firstly i forgot to put the instagram handle in the video, so here it is

Here it is guys...part 2.
A few more lovely ideas for your dungeons and campaigns. I really enjoy making weird and bizarre artefacts and curiosities for homebrew encounters to really spice up those encounters for the adventurers. No dungeon is complete without some kind of weirdness.
And the best thing, it was all made with basic hobby supplies and its totally modular.
Below is a few links for those in the UK, for anyone wishing to buy any of the things i use frequently on my channel. For me, these are the things i use in almost every video (so, the main stuff). Also its worth saying that these are amazon affiliate links, and Iron Gryphon Studio claims a finders fee from the amazon seller with no additional cost to you (the buyers) whatsoever. So feel free to support the channel by clicking through these links to purchase your hobby supplies. Thank you very much :) happy crafting

The crystal floating over that star-well is fantastic. The portal/door is so useful!
@irongryphon

The portal opens so many ...doors for in-game shenanigans. Could be a permanent "dimension door", or a doorway to a demiplane, or other inter-dimensional space. Endless options

Made six of the standing portals, and used them as teleports. Rolled a d6 anytime someone went through, and they showed up at the numbered door. Players loved it! Thank you!!!

Aww cheers zombieland 👍🏻😀 I don't even have a speech prepared 😅 Yesss so many possibilities for this portal door, having the party figure out it can be turned/rotated to point at different symbols on the floor to open portals to different places could be an interesting game hook

@@irongryphon The door is a foam or wood door? Or is it from cardboard or what... 😅 The thing is that I'm thinking about the door has to be too thin to fit in?

I've made the door out of balsa wood, but used bits of coffee stirrers on the back of it to strengthen the balsa cos it's so soft

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but you could create a variant of the skull tower. etch multiple symbols around each "ring", don't glue the rings, maybe magnets or a central stick, and let the players rotate them to solve some form of cypher pointing towards statue on the far side of the room.If you cut the symbols through, utilising concentric interior circles/masks behind the symbols, you could use an to illuminate all of them when the last symbol slots into place. I might try this. Keep up the good work.

Hi, there, greetings from Canada. I've been following the Black Magic Craft channel by a fellow Canuck and just discovered your channel. I actually don't do gaming scenery, but rather 1/35 scale dioramas, about double the scale of gaming stuff, but a lot of the same techniques apply. Your stuff is similar in construction to Jeremy's at BMC, but with your own artistic take. Great stuff!

to make a large gem like that you could hot glue a few glue sticks together let em cool cut your gem-like shapes in dip the whole thing in hot water ( just before boiling) the whole thing will go clear then just drop a glaze on it ( or even drop a coloured diode light under it to shine up.

Interesting circle platform pieces, do you have any ideas for a telescope? Was going to suggest a sundial, however a scria-bowl or luna-tic-toc reflector dish works better at night, don't forget a pyramidal lightning rod forge bowl MAGIC... General Rid Stump!!!

Not n the UK or I'd use the links. I wish I could find XPS easier here in the states. Looks like you use the graphite XPS (GPS) in a lot of builds, because it's denser or because its what you have on hand? As always great video, inspiring me to build a similar hyper-modular centerpiece for my tabletop.

I would always base coat any foam with mod podge and black craft paint, no matter what colour I use. It just helps to seal the foam from any spray paints or glues I may use on it during the build
