I remember seeing Maiden play this song at the Forum in the 80's and you couldn't even hear Bruce sing because the crowd was singing back at him so loud. At Ozzfest they cut the band's sound during Hallowed Be Thy Name and the crowd finished singing the song while the band lined up on the stage and cheered us on. Clearly THIS was not a Maiden crowd.
Such a crowd should make a lot of noise, plus the song is the most popular of the set with Fear Of The Dark. But still we barely hear them singing. The proof that this kind of event isn't made for Maiden and Maiden fans. Most of the people here aren't metalheads, only people that will flex saying "I've seen rock bands". It's a bit caricatural but I feel it that way tbh
The crowd was a bunch of wealthy preppies that aren't interested in Iron Maiden Iron Maiden should have been at Aftershock festival which was happening on the same day Up the Irons to all the true Maiden Fans 🤘
They still deliver! Nicko seems to take the drums a bit easier now wich is logic due to his recent problems. But then again, what a powerhouse they are!
@@andersoncarbonibosca nonsense. I live in LA and see them every time they come. Always sold out, huge fan base (a lot of Latin X fans - crazy), everyone wears a maiden shirt - maybe one guy’s girlfriend wears a shirt from the undercard, and as soon as Doctor Doctor stops, crowd goes fucking nuts. The issue is the mixing of the GnR fans who don’t get it. Just like IDGAF about GnR
The crowd sucks nobody seems to be enjoying Iron Maiden and if you go and watch the video of somewhere in time I have never seen Bruce Dickinson so pissed off at a crowd . We are true Iron Maiden Fans and due to our medical conditions we were unable to make it to this one festival weekend which sucks .
I think people get more excited when you play one hit after another, at least to build up momentum. And many of the crazy die hard fans could not afford to go, or at least be in the pit, which cost thousands of dollars
Great show. Maiden put on a great show as usual. Thanks for video taping. Its a shame the tickets were so damn expensive or i would've loved to of been there. I hope they put on more shows in the USA soon. I can't wait to see a normal ticket priced maiden show again. Concert looks amazing though. Thanks for sharing your experience.🤟
I lost interest after SSOASS and went down the Priest route, watching this I can see which band really appreciates the folk who put them where they are and paid their wages, THE FANS, Up The Irons...

North American and European audience are boring as shit.. Iron Maiden deserves the Southamerican Audience !!!!! Southamerica deserves to be visited once again by Iron Maiden !! We are waiting the southamerican tour dates to be confirmed ! Chile is your home !
What an awfull crowd...not real Maiden fans, USA fans in fact are so boring compared to European fans or Southamerican fans. This festival is not for the fans, is for the money.
Sounds good - except for the drums & vocals, so great job on the strings. Be real about the drummer, he's all over the place. The singer sounds like Mickey Mouse if he gargled with glass. I'm sick of letting these old bands pass on mediocre performances. They need to be called out and YES - I'm a "REAL" fan. I just don't need to kiss thier ass online to prove it.
If you're a a fan you should have known that Nicko has had a stroke in the beginning of the year. He 's not 100%, but still is doing a decent job. Bruce still sings great. Axl on the other hand, sounds indeed like Mickey Mouse.
Vocals and drums are always the hardest when the guys get old I think. Most of the singers from the 70s/80s sound like garbage now. I actually think Bruce sounds ok by comparison. All I know is that Harris still sounds like a beast on that bass.
