Iron Maiden - Monsters of Rock 1998 - (Buenos Aires, Argentina) 

mi viejo también me llevó esa fecha, también tenia 12 años, y tambien fue mi primer recital de maiden, lamento no haber conocido a slayer, angra y helloween que se me volvieron bandas preferidas despues de ese recital (sin contar a O connor y max cavalera, por dios, el último recital de esas magnitudes en Argentina) Ese fue mi ultimo gran recuero con mi viejo, murió casi 1 mes despues el 9 de enero del 99. Gracias viejo!

Toda la Razón, un estilo de cantar muy diferente a la de Bruce, pero saco unos buenos temas, lástima que la mochila de Bruce es demasiado grande para cualquiera vocalista en Maiden.

No se tendrían que haber tocado temas con tonalidades tan altas en los shows. En temas del tipo "Sign of the Cross" o "Futureal" la rompe toda. Es un groso Blaze, a día de hoy sigue sacando música demasiado buena!!!

Maiden is a whole different thing with Blaze. If you understand that, you appreciate it. That´s why Blaze has a very good solo career and great live performances. I´ve seen him live two times in Brazil and they were both great!

Saw them in Brussels that tour with my dad. Was 14 at thé time. My first real gig. What An experience and Blaze was excellent live🤘😉👍🙂!!

I think he done his best. It was such a hard act to follow. Moreover, at this time, Iron Maiden, one could argue, struggled to regain the glory of the 80-88 era even before Bruce left, even though I felt "Fear Of The Dark was a return to top form. Having said that, I liked No Prayer For The Dying; and even more so now. In life, we all go through ups and downs, and make wrong decisions in life, whether: individuals, football teams, and even groups and artists - Maiden are no exception to the rule. The mistake, I believe was picking Blaze in the first place, where as myself and my maiden Fan Friends reckon they should have picked Sebastian Bach from Skid Row. The best choice in my opinion regardless of him not being British - that should not have been a concern due to Maidenism being Worldwide. Listen to him sing Children of the Damned. I love maiden through thick and thin, and I always will love this band. UP THE IRONS!!!

But as you pointed out to fill the shoes of Bruce was a huge challenge....all I really believe is that so many fans never even gave him a chance, so many refused to listen to them just because he was not Bruce, to be honest why should they blame either Maiden or Blaze? You know there is a significent difference between a tenor and baryton, the vocal ranges are completely different, Blaze never could sing their classics such as Trooper or Hallowed, but his voice was perfect for Fortunes of War and Edge of Darkness, I really love and admire both of them, but I really do believe that the albums with Blaze belongs to him, just as the albums with Bruce belongs to him. Furthermore I wish that Bruce would embrace his older voice, it is more emotional, powerful and so much more easy to hear, because sometimes his effort to reach theese higher notes sounds to anyone that is not a native english speaking one, mostly like just screams..... Many of their fans from other countries have to read their lyrics before understanding them, and that seems like a mistake.... I am grateful to you for replying and giving me your opinion....

Así es. Se ve que no la pasa bien en The Number Of The Beast, y en la parte final de "Hallowed Be Thy Name". Se le ve muy estático y concentradísimo en no fallar, y eso debe ser muy estresante.

​@@juanvega6571 X factor es top 3 de Maiden y mejor que casi todo lo post 2000 pero es para escucharlo tranquilo y acostumbrar el oído. Virtual XI es mas discutible pero es buen disco. De ambos siguen haciendo temas en vivo (Sign of The cross, The Clansman) y eso ya dice bastante.

La época menos buena d maiden , esa vez aun llenaban estadios en Argentina , Brasil pero en Usa y Europa tocaban en clubs chicos , la banda perdió mucha popularidad y calidad cuando Bruce c fue en 1993 , felizmente volvió en el 2000

@@folladordeprostis para nada Blaze le va bien sigue cantando y le gusta cantar no tanto en Mása si con un público menor el mismo lo ha dicho escucha su nuevo álbum de 2021 no me queda duda de que gracias blaze influencio mucho en harris el último disco de blaze tiene riffs y armonías de guitarra que suenan al maiden actual, no me cabe la menor duda de que Senjutsu es tan buen disco gracias a la era BLAZE

@@folladordeprostis Blaze hizo su último show en Buenos Aires en 1998. Marzo del 1999 es anunciada la Vuelta de Dickinson y la de Adrian Smith en la Gira del Vídeo juego Ed Hunster Tour en Europa. Londres, Madrid, Lisboa, Ámsterdam y demás.

He's not a shitty singer, his voice is just much deeper than Bruce's. What's shitty was Steve's decision to hire Blaze but not change the band's tuning.

@@asj511 correct. They didnt want to replace Bruce. They wanted something different, but they indeed should have tuned guitars and bass from E to D on Bruces songs so they would have fit to Blazes voice. Epic fail from Steve!
