The tabs online are completely wrong for almost the entire thing, so this was a big help. Thanks for the tutorial.

Brad's Guitar Covers and More Cheers Brad. Yeah, I had a look and they were all over the place. I think what I've done is correct.

Eamon, I’ve been a die hard Maiden fan and guitar player since Number of the Beast album. You always knock this out of the park. Always looking for new content you put out there as keep up the great work. I’ve been working on Rime recently so this helps. Thx

One of my favorite albums also was live after death, I think that was recorded for 4 nights at long beach arena and that all sounded like original songs also, it sounded just as it did on the album's and was a phenomenal world tour, I have been collecting iron maiden documentaries for many years now on DVD and in one called, " The early days", they were talking about how vigorous and extensive and exhausting these tours were, back then it was all buses so things took way longer than today you know, they said it was just exhausting and they really wanted to go home but couldn't till the tours were over. Their manager martin Birch said it was gruelling also but had a year to go on the powerslave tour. Lots of good memories I'll bet for all of them, I'm a firm believer in photos also to capture our fleeting past. Sincerely Lorenzo gig Washington.

Wow that was just so good, thank you so much, I really like the original the best like you just did, I like the flight 666 also , where Adrian finger taps like someone else commented on but the original will always be my favorite ever and is nastalgic to me and means alot growing up in my childhood. I listened to powerslave repeatedly when it was released in the 80's, I remember blasting it on our cassette player at home my brother and I had, the first album I heard was piece of mind, I was in the 6th grade and listened to that repeatedly also, was just blown away by this album. Then I heard number of the beast then reverted backwards and heard killers then iron maiden, what classic albums with Paul Dianno and clive burr. Thank you so much my friend and have a great day. Sincerely Lorenzo gig harbor Washington.

+Eamon O'Neill, the 2 long bends at the beginning of fig 3 of Adrian's solo, on Live After Death it sounds he hits the whammy bar on those bends.

Great lesson man. I love Adrian's playing so sweet. I love the tapping lick he does on his solo in this song and flight 666. I prefer it to be honest.

Fuckin' stellar my friend! Nice to the nth degree. You studied this masterpiece inside out didn't you? There's no other way! I've played for more years than I care to admit, and this still stumps me in places! So again I say fucking stellar job mate! Hall of fame copy for sure! I won't embarrass myself, but have rocked with some big ass names, yet you nail down a classic in my book! You are as good as any out there....I pray you believe that! Rock on my friend....rock on!!!!

Hey David, many thanks for your kind comments! Yeah, I've listened to it a few times (!) over the years, but really concentrated hard on trying to get it as accurate as possible before presenting the lesson. Thanks again for your encouragement!

You are most welcome! I love your accent to my brother. My heritage is Scotch-Irish and my ancestors came to America around 1792. There is something about Ireland that draws me to visit there one day. If you knew my real last name (Phillips is a name I use often, but not my real name) you'd know instantly how I am connected to Ireland. Enough about that though yeah? I have played guitar for 42 years now and still am intrigued by how 6 strings can paint such wonderful pictures of sound. Yeah, I know that some guitars go to 7 and 8 strings but they are not for me. I have over 50 guitars now, down from 112 at one time. Some of my favorites: (1) Gibson RD...what a wonderful instrument (2) Gibson Melody Maker...a simple, yet incredibly insane instrument-the tones from this 1PU wonder are friggin' beyond belief (3) 1979 Fender Strat that is a masterpiece of sound (4) 1975 Fender Bronco, my first guitar ever and still plays so beautifully (5) 1985 Tokai Explorer-a Japanese masterpiece (6) 1978 Ibanez Musician- a 24 fret 14lb neck breaker of sound. It is one of the most well made guitars I've ever seen, yet it's weight is a problem. It is the heaviest of all my guitars and will burden you after 3 songs. It has more switches than a Boeing 747 (ok...not really) and I'm still discovering new sounds. More later....got to go...

Ah nice one David! It works both ways - I love the USA. I just spent 3 weeks going coast to coast - Florida to California and loved every minute of it. I'll be uploading a video on the trip, so if you're a subscriber keep an eye out! You can;t beat a good six string, I agree with you on that one. Thanks again for your kind comments. Eamon.

Can I give you a piece of advice? If you added some tabs to your lesson it would be clearer to get more complex solos like that. :P

Eamon O'Neill Bro, after a month I started to try to learn that solo again, and I'm just confused about a part, which is the fastest one in Adrian's solo! So I wrote a tab for it according to what I saw and heard you playing. Can you check if it's correct, please? Thanks! e ------12-15-13h15-13p12----------13-12--------12---------------------- b 10/13--------------------------------15--------15-13----15-13-12-15-13-12----13-12---- g ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------14---------14~
