I always felt this is what separates the band from others and why they are my favorite, they care about what they do and always have, you can hear it on everything they have ever done. Hey Adrian! Please more guitar tutorials in the future?

@@creamwobbly Really, listen to the whole catalog. Lately I'm finding myself listening to post reunion albums and... finding some very familiar sounding guitar licks. I've even heard it on some of the guitar work he did when he was working on Bruce's solo songs. Too lazy to hunt down songs, but I do often finding myself looking at my Spotify list because waitaminnit, isn't that the intro from (older song)

@@augmentedhat16 I don't like Blaze era. It was a great mistake from steve Harris. Bailey is not a bad singer but it was not a good choice for Maiden. Sorry, it's my opinion!

@@geoluc2357 Totally disagree! Blaze brought a richness to the band's sound with his deeper voice, and it fit with the 2 albums perfectly. He would have done great on Brave New World too as it was written when he was still in the band. Sorry, it's my opinion.

With the release of Senjutsu, Iron Maiden will have released albums in 5 different decades: 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. Needless to say, I'm excited to hear the new album!

Depends on how you count your decades, if you count to 10 like most humans 1-10, not 0-9, then 1980 is the last year of the 70s, and 21 is the 1st year of the 20s, therefore it’s 6 decades.

@@hugolafhugolafdon’t know if demo tapes count - but they did release it themselves and it did sell (and chart) so, numerical concepts of decades aside, you could class it as a “release”. Man, to possess an original of that; wow.

Here's what makes sense to me. Decade should refer to the second to last number of the year. So when you say 1980, that should be 1980s. Not 1970s. 1990 is the 90s. 2020 is the 20s.

Adrian is the king. He and Bruce really have a spark when they work together (re: Bruce's solo albums with him). Maiden really is the sum of the Smith-Dickinson-Harris triumvirate. (No disrespect to the other dudes... Both Gets and Murray have written some of my fav tracks).

Iron Maiden has once again proven they are the absolute master of Metal. Senjutsu is beyond sublime, every single track is a masterpiece. My favourite song is, in no particular order: Senjutsu, Stratego, The Writing On The Wall, Lost In A Lost World, Days Of Future Past, The Time Machine, Darkest Hour, Death Of The Celts, The Parchment and Hell On Earth….ergo, they are all equally brilliant. @@rabarebra I mean Brave New World was a STRONG album. That refreshed energy from the return of Bruce and Addie. Big shoes to fill. I think they've done a lot of great stuff since then though. There's maybe a little filler here and there and some re-hashing of riffs and melodies, but I still enjoy every release. And! A Matter of Life and Death was an absolutely killer album!
