This classic Maiden song was one I used to blast from the cassette player in my little '86 Honda Prelude as a teenager. At the time, I was in love with it for Adrian Smith's guitar work (and lyrics & melody, which he also wrote). But today, fast-approaching 50 years on planet Earth, the song takes on a whole new meaning for me.

I‘ve been a fan of Iron Maiden since 1982. What a great band! Means, that I‘m one of the ‚old Maidens‘. Now you show up, Mr. Ian Zumback. I love that. What better gift have we been given than music in this short life? I love hearing how it (and the people who make it) can encourage more of us to write and make our own (for the same purpose). This is what gets me out of bed in the morning. Thanks! Unfortunately, I don’t have tab for it, but I can try to shoot a short vid showing finger positions soon! I can tell you it’s 3rd fret capo with an Am(add9) chord that gives the primary root tones. The F is a maj7 chord.

Thank you! They are all different inversions of the Cm the section starts with (Am shape with capo on 3). I’ve had a few other ask about the chords in this version, enough I think I’ll put together a quick tut video soon. 🙂

Hey @maksiu11. No AutoTune (not a fan of the blanket effect it has on the human voice), only some mild Melodyne (manual pitch correction tool) on a few sour notes, primarily in the harmony part (those notes were a bit too high for this old guy 😅).
