Seabass G Nope. Everyone knew Spider-Man, The X-Men, and Captain America but unless you were a comic reader you didn't know who Iron Man was but now he's instantly recognizable.

+Seabass G Iron Man, Cap, and others were popular within the comic book circles. But as far as the mainstream public was concerned, the only well known heroes were Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man. Maybe Wolverine too. But now the MCU has introduced all these characters to the mainstream audience. And obviously, Iron Man is the one leading the charge.

According to Bob Layton, when he and David Michelini left Iron Man ongoing in the early 80's, Iron Man comics started selling out within 500, 000 copies per month. So no, Iron Man was not relatively unknown. Maybe he was unknown for the general (sheep) audience. But their opinion is irrelevant anyway, since they're the ones who made this shitty movie successful.

Please avoid using the word "sheep" when describing a group. It makes people dismiss you outright and shows you're snobish. I actually like IM3 tohugh and wasn't one of the people who were pissed about the Mandarin twist.

I had the pleasure of watching Avengers: Endgame in theaters with my family. Watching him die was one of the hardest scenes in a movie I've ever had to watch. Tony Stark, you were the greatest. Rest in peace, Iron Man.

@@zimmz1479 Yeah, being in the Band of Gold definitely made up for my high school band that I was in; my freshmen year was the best, but then it went all downhill after the head director was fired for some stupid reason (he didn't ride the school bus on the way back from Universal Studios which shouldn't have been a reason for getting fired as there were plenty of chaperones on the bus). I just graduated from MGCCC this year, and I will be playing in the Famous Maroon Band (Mississippi State University's band) this fall! I'm going to miss being in the Band of Gold, but I am looking forward to playing up at MS State. Try to do band in college (assuming you're in high school right now) if you can because college is a lot better than high school (and surprisingly easier); don't give up hope bro, just try to get through it as best as you can. Also, (still assuming you're in high school) enjoy it while you can as college does require more studying on your own part, and having to write research papers right before finals really sucks. (I apologize for my comment being really long; I'm a bit of a chatty person when it comes to texting/typing on a computer or my phone).

The whole movie was the incredibles. He did something to piss off some guy who swore vengance and he fights crime with a black friend who has a supersuit with his loved one becoming a person with fire powers in the end.
