Iron Man MK3 LED ZD Toys 1/5 Scale Figure Unboxing & Review 

The price for this is AMAZING. It's not 1-1 on quality with Hot Toys but it's honestly not that far off for a vastly lower price. I ordered him before the video even ended and a second one for one of my best friends who loves Iron Man, I think he's going to love the surprise

I recently won this from a raffle and I must say, the size and details of this one is almost at par with early iron man Hot toys at first glance. I repeat, at first glance haha (minus the gimmicks of course). only nitpick i can think of at the moment is this. With the price point of the figure itself, I'm confident that they can pull a much better internal details from that detachable chest armor and it should have been magnetic, even a small magnet that is same with the arm/wrist missile gimmick will do. last is a basic stand for the figure itself. ankle part bends easily overtime when you don't pose him well while standing.. maybe one earthquake away or 1 table thud from the figure falling over ( i think! haha don't wanna test that one though) battery is quite decent. i left it on for about 6hours now i think and it's still bright. and for the modders, this will be a very much fun mod build. :) every ironman fan will love this one for sure. :)

I think this figure is more for show than crazy poses like the smaller scale it’s like when you put it in your collection it will pop because of the scale

I'm sold!!! I'll buy one now! I was eyeing the Hot Toys 1/4 scale but I dont hve that money! thse one is reasonable price for me!

Checking the price on it this morning, I have to say, it's an amazing and reasonable price for a brand new figure that is this accurate. The articulation in the arms wasn't all that great and I was hoping for more. The shoulder pad restricts the arm from moving upward which kind of makes posing limited. I was very much hoping that they could manage making the articulation a bit better and give it some more range in movement. Next, the scale. This figure, in my opinion, was unbelievably large. It isn't a good thing nor a bad thing. It does stand out and of course, we are going to see more of it in the future but I very much prefer smaller scale. The quality of the figure is amazing though. I recently ordered a figure and I am very worried that it will arrive with paint scratched off or that it is not painted well which did not happen on this figure. I did see a review from your channel about it and it came in perfect condition for you so I am hoping it does for me. Once again, you never disappoint. Thanks so much!

i know the quality of this is lower than the hot toys etc but its kinda crazy that the sculpt is more accurate by quite a bit.

This should give HT a run for their money. Not only that the ZD Toys are bigger, cheaper but it have rechargeable battery (yes the details are not HT quality and it dosen't come with a base or any accessary). But if given the choice, I will pick the ZD Toys just for the USB LED alone. I wanted to have my figure fully lit up as soon as I turn mine display on and not have to mess around with more than a dozen cell battery. Both will be unusable over time but if you don't put battery in and just leave the figure lifeless (especially the Iron Man figures) then I don't want that, and I don't why to mess with DIY option like fusion reactor. But untill HT can give me something like ZD Toys here, I will continue to support the one that make more effort

as a long time review, i´d like to say that ZD´s hands need great improvement, since the socket breaks after some fairly light use, rendering such hand unusable

ZD Toys have went all out with the detail on the figure, i am a bit bumbed that it did not come with the display holder but who really cares when you look at the behemoth of the figure!

It looks cool but I don't really care for the gaps in the shoulders, makes it look a lot less believable that Tony is in this suit. I suppose it could be part of Tony's Iron Legion.

Man this figures looks fantastic but I got myself into trouble since I want to collect different characters of the mcu and hot toys got the best figures for those (Thor, Loki, black panther, dr strange) so I don’t know if I should spend on an iron man hot toys or just buy a couple of this

1/5th scale makes this a pass, sadly. I also might be a little scared about the engineering and long-term wiring durability. Otherwise, it is a good figure for the price point.

I wouldn't be surprised if Threezero might even try to make bigger Iron Man figures.

Is the head detachable? I was thinking about customizing it with custom hot toys Tony Stark head sculpt.

The clear plastic cup for the ball joints are not durable. Mine are all cracked. Very brittle.

Looks cool. But for me, being a model maker/painter that paint job is difficult to look at. While its color accurate, it is sadly riddled with terrible orange peel and just looks bad to me personally. Not a smooth finish at all.
