@@JustinsCollection Another thumbs up here! I've been following your channel for ages and glad to see some cheaper and more affordable figures being shown. Needless to say, I saw ALL your ZD Toys figures and immediately ordered the MK1, 2, 3 and War Machine figures!
Surprising to see ZD Toys provide so many accessories, a light up effect, a display base and a flight stand at such a low price! Would have to pick one up.
@@antcoolman8350 I know right???!!! Its incredible!!! I have the ZD Toys Led Light up Mark III like reviewed here and its a beautiful figure with excellent details, and features and still aorund $40-$45. Way cheaper than Mafex, Mezco, and some hard to get Marvel Legends and they don't even have LED light up features! Homerun for ZD toys!!!
Love that a smaller scale, relatively cheap figure can still manage to include an internal rechargeable battery for easy light-up! Hot Toys please do take note 🌶
The light up figure’s a step in the right direction imo, less blast effects for more weapons like the forearm missiles. I always hated the old Figuarts Iron men for lacking weapons
I love the fact that it looks so realistic and has a chargeable lighing inside and with a low price , i think no one will hesitate to buy iron man hot toys from ZD's line
When I see the charging cord it seals the deal, I have to get one of this, this one's definitely much convenient vs replaceable battery's, just charge the bad boy and its ready to go.
I own this figure and it's really fun to mess around with. My only gripe is that the eyes don't share the same amount of light when looking to the side but other the that, the figure is really phenomenal. Waiting for Mark 7 and the Mark 85 reissue 🔥
The design of the light up features on this figure is really awesome. I wish Hot Toys had done the same thing with their Iron Man line. When you're paying premium price, you shouldn't have to put batteries in.
Hi Justian! These both are two great versions of this toy. Like the review from a few days ago of the version that was silver, this version has a wonderful number of accessories that are useful and look good even without the flying stand accessory. For a figure with this much detail and overall great look it’s a great deal. As I’m watching this my anticipation to see the figure light up my level of anticipation is high. The figures are pretty undeciferable. Wow! The light up figure looks amazing! What a great looking feature and what a difference the light up feature makes in the enjoyment of the figure. I can’t figure out why anyone would get the figure that doesn’t light up if given the chance. It’s a great figure and I also think this figure size and choice of light up figure is it has the potential to make the perfect gift, not too big or pricey and appealing to most collectors of Marvel. Thanks for the video Justian 😊👍
I'm switching from Hot Toys to ZD Toys! The reasons I bought Hot Toys is because of the details and articulation. But the size (1/6) makes it kinda hard to collect a lot of them, unless you have enough space. Also the prices aren't cheap. I have been looking for 1/12 Iron Man action figures but didn't like them, mostly because the details aren't good enough and they have very poor articulation. The only 1/12 I liked were the COMICAVE versions but the prices are too high. ZD Toys is making some very good quality action figures with at cheap prices, with amazing artwork. Now they can even light up and more importantly they don't use batteries, you can just charge them up and that is freaking amazing. I'm so sick and tired of Hot Toys using those little watch like batteries, it's a real pain in the a$$ to put and remove the batteries and as if it wasn't bad enough. Most batteries they supply aren't even good so you end up with some parts not lighting up. I hope they make other Iron Man suits. Amazing review as always. Cheers mate
I bought one and it’s actually very good to display. Nice review anyway, even in 1/10 scale you are one of the few that can actually show properly the figure and not 15 minutes of box/accessories and 20 minutes of their fingers.
The frustration of searching a mk 3 figure, which is my favourite mcu design, but being in Italy, and not being imported, everywhere I find this amazing figure it would cost me like double the price only for importing it in my country. Fuck importing taxes.
Picked up both the light up and the non, and both are freakin’ cool. I’ve yet to open the Mk2, and Mk4 I picked up but so far I’m loving these figures.
While the non replaceable rechargeable battery is more convenient, it's also going to be an issue in the long run. When the battery expires or leaks, the light up feature will be gone, it's prone to damaging unlike with a replaceable one, it's easier to swap batteries and remove the battery if going to store the figure for a long time to prevent any damage.
@@JustinsCollection true, but LED lasts considerably long. Batteries kept inside a toy will eventually die out and worse leak/corrode and damage the whole lighting feature. As an example, my dragonzord from the 90's has an LED light in the chest and until now it's still working because I remove the battery when storing it, imagine if it came with a non replaceable rechargeable battery? The battery might be difficult to replace or maybe not designed to be replaced which will suck for long term collection.
I think I've said this on another of your videos but more companies need to do 1/10 scale, it's my preferred scale, the balance of scale, detail, and price is just right. Hot Toys have to do it some day!
Hello Justin! What a review! I also make zd toys Iron Man reviews. I also do custom battle damage Iron Man ZD toys figures. How can I send some for review?
Hace you tried swapping the arms from the shoulders?like put the weapon arms on the light up by swapping the shoulders at the ball joint? Also I love you channel :) thank you
@JustinsCollection I just had that thought cause I saw someone take a zd Ironman apart, and the arms are on ball joints into the torso, and you said you wish the light up one had it so I thought it could help
Problem with built in batteries. When they die in 5-6 years your light up feature is finished. With replaceable batteries your figure will work for ever. Just remove the batteries so they do not leak / corrode in storage. For collectables replaceable batteries is the way to go. For throw away toys built in rechargeable batteries are fine or if you don't care it stops working in a few years.
@@JustinsCollection A cheap LED will last 30,000 hours so if you had it on 8 hours a day every day it would last 10.27 years or 4 hours a day 20 years. The Rechargeable lithium battery has a 5 -7 year shelf life even if they are not use they degrade and fail... run time also degrades as they age. So your figure wont light after apx 7 years at best even if not used but the LED still has lots of life left. So if you had it a couple of years and put it away for a few when you took it back out the rechargeable battery is finished. With replaceable batteries 20 years later I could take it out put new batteries back in and it like new. LED bulbs can be stored indefinitely with no degradation batteries cant.
Just went to purchase the light up version on that site and the ending price was 300 something dollars. It’s listed for 39, clicked on it, putting in my information and then bam, it was weird
the figure should hopefully work with marvel legends. black series are more true 1/12 scale like figuarts. marvel legends are in-between 7 inch and 6. plus the ironman suits make tony very tall like the hot toys mk 85 towers over black widow and others. plus unless they're all stood up straight you wouldn't be able to tell anyway. great review I think I'm getting this whole line just for the fact unlike hasbro they paint their figures not cast them in bright red and call it a day
Have they made the Iron legion from Iron-Man3 or they have only come out up-till mark 7 cs I’ve always wanted to have a collection of All the Iron Man Suits
I love the MK3 and have just ordered my light up version based off seeing your review. (great job by the way). My one BIG gripe with this model isn't actually to do with the model, but with the flame extras. Ironman's jets and hand repulsors are not yellow, they are a brilliant blue/white, so while I'd like to use these on the model from time to time, it's unlikely. Sure they are accurate in the AD Toys MK1 but not in the MK3.
Can't wait for mine to arrive. Btw the internal battery thing is really cool but I'm a little bit concerned by the safety aspect of it. Did you know what type of battery it is ? Also when it'll die, no more light-up... :/ Love the reviews !
@@JustinsCollection if you get chance check out Ralph ciffra on RU-vid he has all the zd toys figures and also shows the upcoming releases they are apparently releasing every atmour the kj 85 has been available for a while aswell
My packaging had a totally different base. Mine came with a black base and the holder has a clip instead of being opened and closed by hand. The board pic behind the the two opening flaps..mine has a white pull tab,not red...and didn't come with the usb cable
@@JustinsCollection right. I watched a few reviews, and only one of them had a black base stand. I'm actually going to do a review of it. I have both versions. But what I really want to show is how the packaging was a little different in mine. Your reviews have gotten me to paying a lot more attention to details ,versions ,and the articulation of figures. I really live your channel. Thanks for your reviews. 👊🏿
Hey Justin, these ZD figures look great!,shame they don't come with a really good head sculpt of RDJ!,that would set this off the chart! Probably guessing that you know about ThreeZero making a 6.5 in Iron Man?,which looks great also, can't rmbr if it has a light up feature though, will you get that too?,great review! 👍
