This is my favorite Ironman story. Every issue had a different armor fight and really explored Tony's character without crapping all over him.

When I saw goatee Saul Goodman after Tony said 1:11 "It's Lawyer'in time" it gave me goosebumps. 💀💀

I really loved this classic Iron Man comic storyline, along with Demon in the Bottle and The Dragon Seed Saga.

The animation of this was so good - enjoyed Tony's curly front 80s mullet.

I'd just like to say that Marvel TLDR covered this story years ago. It was funnier, animated more fluidly, and the narrator felt like he actually had a soul inside the iron casing

I wish Disney would explore making a series based on explaining the comic book stories such as this. If they added a little behind the scenes at Marvel to show their decision making proceess when they made these comics it would be so awesome.

Own a lot of these issues and their fan favorites for a reason! Love seeing you guys to stay cuz it's too funny and gets right to the point!

Hm Didn’t they do this in TLDR Well this makes it easier to compare em now Imma just summarize my points cuz I don’t wanna spend an hour writing TLDR has better art/animation in trade for shorter time, so it only focused on the big stuff but still kept it coherent. Their general vibe is more cartoony/fun and paints a brighter light on the heroes. Long story short had worse art/animation in trade for more time and so a lot more smaller stuff got explained. Their general vibe is more “realistic” while trying to still be fun but painting a darker light on the heroes. I personally think TLDR is better but that’s just me.

I hate guilt, better just erase that portion of my memory.

I hope Justin Hammer comes back, he was one of my favorite villains. Lol!

The decade of the "Demon in the Bottle" through the "Armor Wars" was my favorite run of comics as a kid (second favorite being Captain America's stint as the Captain), that being said, I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for posting it!

This story should have definitely been turned into a solo Iron Man movie while RDJ was around, for instance right after Civil War. It would fit just right for Tony's mentality at the time (feeling responsible for the damage caused by the Avengers, feeling friendless due to Cap's perceived betrayal, feeling infuriated for having contributed to Rhodey's injury, and seeking retribution for those who misuse his tech).

Another story I quite liked in the 2010s was the one where Stark ends up having to go through his old hangouts/armors to do iirc a memory restore after being revived by thor (I know I know). The fights were pretty epic, including his short fight with Namor in old aquatic armor and even donning the Mark 1.

They should do an animated version of infinity war and gauntlet and mention the black order and one of them says in animation form what we weren't in this and the narrator says no not until the 2010s you guys were introduced later on.

Armor Wars will be in the mcu in the future, but i want Crimson Dynamo, and Titanium Man to appear in the movie.
