No cover will ever be as good as the original, but this is still a great effort. Kudos to Iron Savior for making a good tribute while still retaining some of their own unique hits and hooks.

Nope, the Iron Savior is a war machine that was originally made by scientists from Atlantis to protect their country from a possible attack of the Alliance... So, the Iron Savior is the protector of Atlantis and its story has nothing to do with Electric Eye, I can't find any similarities between those themes.
@@alextaunton3099 That's the power of the older songs. Their lyrics have the ability to preset a goddamn story that can have a lot of depth and a lot of learning values. For devil's sake, the goddamn song ended up predicting Facebook! And it may even predict the future. That's the power of metal!

On the other hand, a cover has for goal tae stick the closest possible tae the way your actual band actually sounds. As far as I do agree w/ ye, we can't blame them fae this, and coverwise they are just fine. But ye said it somehow :)

I like Iron Savior. Fine band......but........u can`t really compare. Try watching the Priest " Live in Memphis" from 1982..........best concert ever......then u know no-one can do it like Judas........but nevertheless....nice try :)
Probably because Piet has a completely different type of voice from Halford. This cover would have almost as good as Gamma Ray's cover of Victim of Changes had Kai done vocals as well as his spot on lead guitar.
