I would recommend a TT. The first half of the course is flat, and really much of the elevation gain is due to some rollers and the two big clubs. You’ll experience more comfort overall on a TT Bike IMO

Thank you for the advice there. Makes sense. I checked out the Strava segments of the climb, the steep parts aren't more than 5 mins each.

Richard Luis yes, for 2018 it is the same. But they may change the swim in the future.

Adam Hill thanks Adam. I'm in Capistrano Beach and was trying to figure out best place to watch the bikes...I also heard they actually are changing the swimm tomorrow. Lionel Sanders is an acquaintance of mine and he said the tide was too high so they are swimming out of the harbor and turning right back around. It won't be the same this year...

Oh, and if your competing tomorrow, good luck buddy...I hope to join you guys next year..
