I see this man almost every day. He swims at the pool that I work. He is an amazing man. If you ever get to really talk to him, you realize the oceanic depths of his character!
Pure RESPECT for this guy !!!! I am going to do my first one on my 60th birthday, I am 60 in 2022 so got a good training window. This guy has really really inspired me . Thank you thank you thank you !!!
How did you go with it? I've done a lot of triathlons over the years including the full distance IM but planning a comeback at that distance when I turn 60 next year. Have entered a half iron distance race in November 2023 to test myself.

LOL We share the same 1st name but not the training philosophy, going anaerobic will stress the heart and the body . Girlfriend is a cardio othro rehab RN 25 plus yrs who see's the damage to the heart , knee's and hips in her facility . So age 61 now with 33yrs in the sport no major injury, its about training smarter , not harder . But we can only change or control ourselves .
Aerobic exercisse dosent produce stress in the tissue? Running your weight multiply for (it depends on speed) x 5 or 8 times, during running 10 km yo have 6000 steps, x 5 times your weigth...exercisse always stress your body and tissue, that make improve...
