"Pressure building behind your eye" Mouse is describing ocular migraine, I had some before having all my wisdom teeth pulled out and they're super painful to the point they make you throw up.
@@Ghostiification Pain is what makes you get nausea most of the times, not everyone has the same tolerance to pain or the same pain while having a migraine.
migraines SUCK. I remember I had a time that they'd occur every two-ish weeks and each time after I recovered my vision it would be a countdown to pain leading to vomiting. now they are only every few months and I have not puked from one in a few years
I swear, the more I watch of Mouse, the more I'm shocked she's still alive - by now, I'm fairly sure she's basically willing herself alive, in much the same way some people just shut down and die of grief, but the other way around. The Grim Reaper won't be able to collect her until she's had that beer.
She had severe bacterial sinusitis because of her immunodeficiency - so all the rotting puss build up in the forehead and para nasal caves had to be removed surgically. I had it too (fortunately not as bad as what she has) That's how I know. It was living hell! I almost needed new spleen and liver from all the painkillers I had to take for years - until I got a proper knowledgeable doc (not as easy as you might think, since most docs are just arrogant idiots) that diagnosed the real reason for my pain and made my surgery done!
God bless mouse for another day on this Earth. Every once in a while she tells of another medical emergency that could’ve cost her her life. It’s a long list so far. It’s a miracle of modern medicine that’s she’s still with us. Kudos to Conner for his nonplussed reaction. He’s the best.
Headaches from crying are pretty normal but I think you're more likely to get them if you are prone to headaches/migraines (like I am). It also doesn't happen every time I cry, only in certain situations... If I watch a sad movie and cry I'll be fine but if I'm extremely emotional and break down crying I'll get a migraine. It's really unfortunate because I can't have that nice emotional clarity after a good cry because I'll just have a migraine and feel worse than before. I also cry easily so it's really frustrating to be very emotional but have to force yourself not to cry because you'll end up in bed for 3 days with a migraine!
headaches from crying isnt normal. it isnt rare but its not normal. its normal if you have certain things but not alot of people have those things so once again its not normal.
I have never even heard of getting a headache from crying. If anything it feels good when I cry, and I don't just mean emotionally I mean physically too. The only thing negative I ever experience from crying is nasal congestion but, that's it.
I don't watch streamers but I do catch these clips and shorts of people now and then. By chance I've seen clips of mouse lately and I know her backstory now. I used to think vtubers were weird to be honest, but I have changed my mind and learned not to judge them harshly and ignorantly. She seems like a very kind soul and a wonderful person. I hope she experiences the great happiness she deserves.
HOLY SHIT, HOW BAD IS HER SITUATION??!! Connor honestly said mouse was cute so im happy disease and surgeries didnt destroy her body as you would assume it would, face surgery sounds scary. Crazy she thought he was crazy for not having headaches (it's an alert for us on how we may think), she should see a medic asap.
"He honestly said she's cute" like.. Come on. What else would you say to or of your friend? Also even if she was scarred or something it doesn't mean she couldn't look cute or pretty..
@@Ghostiification No, i was referencing the vídeo where he saw her irl pic, he basically said "if you wasnt cute i would just keep quiet so i keep saying cause youre truly pretty"
She specifically mentioned why. Sinus pressure is a thing that a lot of people experience and depending on the person it can go anywhere from headaches to full on migraine pain. So you can even be healthy and have a similar issue, I can only imagine how bad it has been to Mouse who right then mentioned also having a sinus infection so bad they had to fix it with surgery.
Mouse is right lol. Sometimes you can get headaches from crying too hard. That used to happen to me as a kid lol. Not as often or painful as Mouse tho Mouse is just built different
I get headaches most times when I cry too but not the kind she's talking about. Those I think are tension headaches they're awful. I have chronic migraines tho and I used to get ocular migraines constantly that fucked with my vision
I had sinusitis once when I was a toddler and it hurt so damn bad, I still remember decades after. I can't even imagine what she went through. She is a true warrior.
It causes migraines for me! I have to have my medication handy if I start crying. If I have to go to a funeral, I have to take multiple days in bed because of the migraines.
I think, if you are already prone to headaches/migraines, crying is more likely to cause a headache. That's how I am. However, it depends on the type of crying I'm doing if that makes sense? I'm kind of a crybaby and cry very easily at things so crying because of a tv show is very common. But that type of crying won't give me a headache. I get headaches from crying if its my own emotions causing it/something happening directly to me. Its weird lol.
Usually whenever I get pressure on the front of my face like that usually it’s allergy related. When I was younger it was really bad. It felt like where my forehead meets my nose was gonna pop. What helps is hydration, proper allergy medicine, Neti Pot, vix rub on the nose and chest, or heck the vix cough drops clears me- (i have severe allergies)
Might also be migraine related. Whenever I cry it's very likely I get migraine from it. Idk why exactly. Lucky me I don't cry very often. But geez I sure hope she doesn't have migraine as well as all the other crap.
if I cry a lot that day I get a bad headache. and the next day or so my eyes hurt and I'm more susceptible to headaches. for those cases I think it's usually more muscle strain and dehydration. what mouse describes sounds like the tears just cant escape her sinuses or something
I think the feeling she is describing behind the eyes are her sinuses, especially considering the nature of her surgery. In the few times I have had a true ugly cry that went on for more than a minute or two, my sinuses filled up and I could feel that pressure. In Mouse's case, I would imagine that pressure would hurt worse.
I’ve gotten headaches from crying. It’s sobbing so hard that your nose is running. You build up fluid in your sinuses. Luckily this only can happen to me at funerals. I guess Connor hasn’t experienced that level of sadness… yet?
0:28 0:38 And she cries SO EASILY, thats terrible! If i was her i would avoid crying. The most surprising is that is one of those situation where a unique person thinks theyre universal cause their reality is the only thing they experience, i saw many color blind people thinking they were the default, other disabled people too, i even questioned if a socio or psychopath could be totally unaware of their condition. In her case i dont know how it slipped so long.
Getting headaches from crying is more common than I think you realize… this isn’t something she needs treatment for, it’s just something that some people experience. The best way to explain it is by using ASMR as an example, some people experience the tingles and some don’t at all, simple me thinks.
Headaches from crying are pretty common, but for me, it depends on the reason why I'm crying. If I cry because I watched some sad moment in a tv show, I won't get a headache. But, like, if I'm having a mental breakdown and crying uncontrollably I'll get a headache. Honestly, I think it's more common if you are already prone to headaches/migraines (like I am)
@@catmomchantel Yea people with sinus issues like mouse for example are more likely to feel sinus pressure when they cry, that’s what causes the pain. It’s really not uncommon but obviously in some cases it needs treatment, which she already got but it obviously doesn’t get rid of sinus pressure pain entirely. I get congestion headaches all the time, ESPECIALLY after I’ve had a bout of crying, but that’s more likely due to allergies than anything lol
