I remember being dumped a complex spreadsheet 20 yrs ago by a finance team when I asked to do tech debt evaluation of a legacy IT landscape.All these years I thought someone must have done rocket science in those macros because no one understood the calcs till I accidentally saw ur video today..Wonderful learning. I am curious about one question though: how to know the return rate for NPV & PV calculation? Is it something that we expect and it can differ from actual number or how it is found out? Because this will have a great impact in determining the PV and if the equity is overpriced/underpriced.

Kirtan, simplification of difficult to understand financial jargons is thy name. My query: When calculating XIRR for random & staggered investments, if the returns are negative .. in certain cases, XIRR answer is a zero instead of it being a negative value. How to troubleshoot this problem?
