My Memory Cards problem is that when I insert it into the slot and open it, it says 'No Data'. But what's making me confused is that how I have only 297kb left when it says 'No Data'.
happened me too but only in the slot 1. my ps2 have 2 memory cards 10 years before a blue card was in the first slot and A red card on slot 2 1 month before. my ps2 stopped detecting the blue card in the first slot so i put the red in the slot 1 and the blue in the slot 2. the ps2 detect the 2 cards
I have the save problem. When i insert the slot and open it, it says “no data”. I had 15 years old memories in that card and now, they are all gone. Wow, thats a lot of damage :’).
I’ve had this happen in the past, the only way to get rid of those is to format your memory card, you can get rid of these saves using action replay or playing the Viewtiful Joe 2 demo from the PlayStation 2 Holiday Demo Disc 2004, however I suggest that you back up your other saves to another memory card before formatting it.
@Strange things are happening to Woody It has a bug that wipes all of your memory card save data. The game tries to initiate an auto save feature like most games have but instead just removes all of your saves.
My Children Have A Corrupted File On One Of Their PS2 Memory Cards. What Do You Think Has Caused It, And What Can We Do To Get Rid Of It Or Probably Throw Away That Memory Card?
The cause of it would most likely be from turning off the console while the system was in the middle of saving a game file. For my case the two files that can't be deleted are from 2005 when I was only around 9 years old. I turned off the console while it was in the middle of l saving because I didn't know any better. As for the solution to get rid of it. You can try what other people in the comments have suggested. I mostly made the video as a visual demonstration of this happening. rather than a fix.
This was caused by Spyro: a Hero's Tail from 9 year-old me back in 2005 turning the system while it was auto saving I think not realising that it was saving. I know about the freezing and crashing in RotFD. I think that happens after failing to load and not saving though.
@@coreygriffin9964 I have same problem while I trying to open the memory to delete some saving level of game it’s coming hang and freezing can’t do any thing so how I can open and read the memory ?it’s shown on top of right side Options and unlockables
I have that problem and I cannot get the Action Replay Disc. So, I am just going to delete everything and throw the PS2 Memory Card in the garbage. Cause, there is no point in having it. If it is going ot have Irremovable Corrupted Data and I don't have the Action Replay Disc to remove the irremovable Corrupted Data. The game it was on was Madden NFL 07. I tried to delete the File and it is not working. It has the 3 ??? and it said Corrupted and I tried to delete it. But, it does not delete. It will say Delete Successful. But, it does not delete the ??? Corrupt File for Madden NFL 07 on my PS2.
I dont know what's wrong with mine i put the memory card from when I was a kid and opened the card only for it to kick me out of it and its sad cause I can see all the icons of the games I used to play but can't look at them 😔 does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
Sorry for the long comment. It was a fairly good video especially for the error sound but I am not surprised this happens when you've changed the date with some hex value editor for the time of the memory block I certainly wouldn't recommend doing this on a real PS2 although I know this was an emulator.
This was on a real PS2 unfortunately. I recorded it on a capturing device. The corrupted data has been there since 2005 I was only 9 years old playing Spyro a Hero's Tail and turning off the system while being too young to realise that I did it while the game was auto saving.
@@coreygriffin9964 I am so sorry Corey I genuinely thought this was recorded on an emulator the quality of this video is still superb to a point where it's unrecognizable :-O I was quick to judge I guess this really can happen even during autosaving although it must be fairly rare, thanks very much for uploading this!
Dayum, i've finisihed playing burnout 3 and then i started god hand just to find that the game doesnt find any save file, i check my memory card and my god hand saves are corrupted, this exact same problem What a shame
You could have backup copying the save file and send to other memory card, but if it deleted then its lost. Otherwise if you backuped the other save file on the other memory card send to the main and its fine.
Anyone have clue on a corrupted data when size is broken. yes everything is moved over to my other card. but yeah broken size. anyone in the comments wanna help. and when trying the gran turismo 3 method. ERROR. copying protecy. try to fix. or buy a new memory card
Hey this is a old a** video but I rlly need help. I just got a ps2 and DBZBT3 and went all the way to the cell saga but when I shut the game off then boot it up it doesn’t allow me to click continue on the game boot up. Any suggestions? I am saving it right ThAts not the problem any comment would be appreciated this game means a lot to me.
That’s really strange... if you have another memory card, try moving the data to the other through the browser, and putting the memory card with the copied data, into slot 1. What region is the game in?
Its an easy fix using a program called "MC Killer". Can be used on PC by using an Adapter, or straight into the console using the Homebrew "U launch elf". I did it myself, and recovery a full 16MB Memory Card.
I have a corrupted data from The Godfather game, I made intentionally (idk what was passing in my head), I saved the game and then, I turned off the console, now I can't delete the save. The data is -0555535/19/1600. Why the hell is this date? Idk, but now, I can't save Burnout 3 and other games. I can't even install OPL (I think it's because of this)
