Thank you for explaining the difference between the top, middle, and base notes! I consider myself a newbie when it comes to investing in fragrances and its can get confusing. The pictures you added to the video really help visualize the scents. Vanilla woods and Love dont be shy both sound like they smell amazing! My go to fragrance is Daisy Love. Would love to hear your thoughts on more scents (new series maybe?)🤍

I work at a beauty supply store and we got some fragrance roll ons (they’re not the real ones ofc). I got the Black Orchid one bc I fell in love w the scent but everyone keeps saying it smells like an old woman. But now I know to tell them it smells rich. I was surprised that I liked it at all bc I always like to smell warm and comforting. A lot of my fragrances have amber notes.
Oh Goodness, I have black orchid as a blind buy and have never worn it in public, I’ve tried to spray at at home after the shower twice. I just can’t get with it……. Oh gosh it’s extremely strong ; It gives me 50 and up rich woman scent. Rich woman cool - that smell is so bad… Let me try again tonight. 😩
I’ve been burned so many times blind buying fragrances and candles based on recommendations. Now I will always make sure I go in store to smell them personally!

Ok so I had love don’t be shy, it was good. So I bought oakcha sweet addict off of your recommendation, and your right, it does have a lil more spice, I honestly like it wayyyy better than the Kilian one. And it lasted longer! Thank you for sharing!
I bought Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka because of you and it’s my most complimented perfume to this day. I love it so much! I think Montale Sweet Vanilla and Penhaligon Clandestine Clara are the two I’d love. I absolutely love tonka bean as well
I feel like people sleep on Versace perfumes. I have almost the whole collection, but do not have the Crystal Noir 🥺, now I have to get it. I have both the pink and the absolu , the yellow, the Eros, the Dylan blue and now the Dylan turquoise blue.
Myrrh and Tonka is GORGEOUS. It's mysterious, sultry, and sophisticated. I didn't think I could pull it off because I am NONE of those adjectives... I layer it with Jo Malone's Honey and Crocus to mellow it out a bit for daytime wear. Honestly, I don't smell lavender at all -- I'd say it has more of an incense-y top note. Arnell is totally right -- it's such a unique fragrance and it adds depth and nuance. Myrrh and Tonka has excellent projection, the sillage is stunning, and the scent lasts for hours! Highly, highly recommend.
@@Empress1014_ i tried those(the other versace ones) at the airport recently and they smelled SO good, i’m thinking of collecting those after i’ve collected all my favorite Diptique perfumes. Did you have a chance to smell/get the Crystal Noir & if so did u like it?

I think when the demand went up for Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy, the potency went down. Basically, they diluted it. Hence they even changed their packaging
Exactly what I knowdised as well. Unfortunately it lost its original flavor and the new design doesn't look as elevated as the original black one. I'm going to buy the dupe since it's fragrance matches the original one more.
Lucky scent probably has most of the niche/lux fragrances to sample especially the Penhaligons 💕 I would love Montale’s Sweet Vanilla I love vanilla notes 🥰🥰
I love how fragrances are a unique product, where the formula, chemically, is the same in each bottle, but it can take on a completely different life and smell different on each person! From your list, I have Vanilla Woods and Fever and I love them both! I’m interested in the Sweet Addict perfume. I just bought Gucci flora and Valentino Born in Roma and I can’t wait to get into fragrances even more after watching your video🙌🏾 So glad you finally made this 👏🏾

Omg, not us saying Prada Candy is that scent at the same time. Like rollerballs & mini sprays deep. But u definitely put into perspective with one of the scents when u said it smells similar to Victor Rolf FlowerBomb cuz that’s a great fragrance. I absolutely love La Vie Est Belle by Lancome and Bond No9 The Scent of Peace. I don't think that the Bond lasts long enough. Especially for the price tag. But the Belle lasts all day and I always get compliments when wearing it. I am definitely going to give the Jimmy Choo Fever a try. It sounds really intriguing. Best wishes!

I wear Myrr & Tonka! I will wear the body cream some days and it is BEAUTIFUL all by itself. It will ride with me all day. When I add the fragrance, I am chased in the store or at work. People step in my ofc talking and stop mid sentence and tell me I smell fabulous!! I love it

Funny, I ordered from Oakcha earlier this year and purchased 2 bottles of Sweet Addict 😩, what if I tell you that it was my least favorite. I love Sorcery, Athena and their Oud 👌🏽. I’ll mix the sweat addict with the Athena and see if I can tolerate it 🥴

Changing Constance is a nice fragrance but it really doesn't last long (specially for the price). Maybe others didn't have the same experience that I had 🤷🏿♀️

Now watching this video I feel like I may love fragrances with tonka bean. That Jo Malone tonka may have me *adds to wishlist* .. I tried the Tom Ford velvet orchid recently and it was an immediate yes. I feel like it would go well in this collection. Also TF lost cherry just feels so warm and inviting. I wear it when I feel like I need to give myself some extra love.

I have Vanilla Woods and I love itttttttt!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍 That fragrance is on level 1000! I discovered it earlier this year around February while watching a Tik Tok video by Jackie Aina where she talked about certain perfumes in her perfume collection. It makes me smell delicious! And it's the pear + vanilla that makes this scent amazing!

I bought Jo Malone's Myrhh and Tonka based on your recommendation. I was a bit skeptical at first sniff but I wanted to try something different so I purchased it. Hands down, my favourite scent ever. You are correct that there's absolutely nothing like it. Its pairs well with so many fragrances, very versatile, and the fragrance is unique. I pair it with my vanilla fragrances and floral fragrances and I smell divine.
