@@loyceasio2168 yes.. Many can be connected separately with a bigger pump with the help of a plumber. The pumping machine used for this can take just two sprinklers at a time

Yes.. But if a farmer does not get his farm land close to a river, he can still dig a well and use. For irrigation, if a farmer does not have, it limits him very much

No no and no For water melon and other veggies you use drip irrgation tapes or hoses with the proper inline and between rows spacing , this type of sprinkler are called rain guns or big guns Mainly used to irrigate fodder , field crops . For veggies use drip.
Use drip @ proper in-rows and row spacing / if your area air temp is too hot at around noon / sprinkling with fine dripplets can intervene to ONLY cool down air/soil temp.
Brother , this system u using is NOT the most suitable . Fisrt your pipe network are incorrect u have too much leakage Second : you using here simple low pressure centrefugal water pump U should be using " high pressure " pump type either petrol or electric Third : sprinkler big guns are not used for vegetables , it is used for fodders field crops U wasting lots of water , plant leaves are getting wet , ecouragement of diseases , insects , weeds etc... Please adopt a more efficient system " drip irrigation " is it . 19:24 use sprinkler when u need to cool off conditions
Thank you for your comment, but Why should he use high pressure pump if he feels he does not need it? The pump he is using now uses petrol and the pressure can be raised to suit 2 sprinklers, if he so wishes. An electric pump cannot be used there since there is no electricity or power plant near the place to power the said pump. Maybe, you don't understand the situation in the area where this farm is located. Talking about waste of water, that could be true but the drip system which you think saves water too is very expensive to do. I hope you heard him talking about the drip irrigation and also mentioned that it is expensive, which means he is really aware of that from of irrigation and probably not using that now because of the cost in obtaining it? Maybe, you can rewatch. For the leakages, the lines were not like that before this time and i cannot say why he has not repaired it since I am a visitor to the farm. He has been using this sprinkler and form of watering his farm for many years and has not recorded any diseases history or any thing like that. In all, he is able to get the outcome he wants when it comes to his goal of being able to plant all year round.
@@frenatfarms ok thank u hello frenatfarms , why he should use high pressure ? - because the rated pressure treshold in any given rain gun allows to be more efficient in terms of water flow and " driplets seize " the smaller the dripplets the better it infiltrates deeper in soil avoiding water stagnation as can be notice in clip / ok , now such heavy water flow is not recommanded for vegies growth as it also hampers soil/ rootzone gazeous exchange / suffocating plants / roots to breath better , wets plant leaves , compacts soil let alone ecouragement of diseases , weeds , insects , extra labor to weed , spray more " poisoneous chem , and all of that adversely effect both the per m2/acreage expected yield and product safety as well as quality . Now as the brother mentions drip , which he should opt for , nowadays prices for such tapes are NOT expensive and available all over, drip is more energy, time , fertilizer , chemigation , efficient also take home this 👉🏿with drip ( more control over plants , uniformity growth , growth stages are uniform hence fertilisation same formula at each given stage , crops are uniform ( u can irrigated at night when all climatic elements are more clement ) no electricty there a 2" high pressure pump petrol to replace this lower pressure he using i🫡
@@frenatfarms brother , i am in AFRICA , i know off-grid life , but this lecture is an expert advice gratis , pls take all the points i mentionned , farming is about " efficency " . Example this gun is a waste of water for all crops , water is ever precious commodity to waste , pls use drip .
