Irrigation Timing 

One of the most important elements of irrigation is getting the timing right. Without a soil moisture probe it is extremely hard to estimate the right time. On occasion, rain events give us the opportunity to drive water deep. just because it rains doesn't mean that we should shut down irrigation. We should shut down irrigation when the soil profile is at an optimum condition for the timing of the plant growth.
