Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS, at 11 years of age. Despite the challenge it represents to move around freely, Elisa decided to hold the reins of her life and choose in what terms she would live it.
Gratitude and appreciation are to be found in her lips and heart, whatever the challenge. Wisely, she decided that an allegedly chronic condition shouldn’t define how to we feel or who we are. “This too, shall pass”, Elisa says.
