Very informative and thanks for putting this out there. As a bookkeeper in the cannabis industry, I lean toward conservative, making my adjustments to COGS those that I can defend from a rock solid position during an audit backed by documentation. Once my tie-ins are done and the books go into the hands of the CPA, its between the client and their CPA as to how aggressive they want to get. Better to be conservative and have the books reflect that position for not only tax purposes but also interim business decisions.
