The good thing about it all is that there are good guys out there in for of Ethical hackers who are specialised in cyber security and cyber investigation without spending much. They can pretty much sabotage the scammers network entirely, they have the tools and knowledge. I got a direct recommendation of an expert hacker who once used his hacking skills to save me from the claws of a scammer. He was able to trace the scammer IP and location and even refunded the money that was stolen from me using the same technique the scammers used. Basically I was able to scam the scammer with the help of Binaryreap3r. In case you have experienced similar situation then you should talk to Binaryreap3r @ gmail com ... Good luck

Every time a man with a thick Indian accent says “This is Kevin Parker”, I just say “This is Ramagopal Sripatoo” in perfect English. Gets them every time.
I'm from India. Most of these scams are taking place in India. But not all. Since Most of the south east Asia countries have similar thick accent. I know it's a shame. I couldn't do anything other than being sorry for people who get scammed.

I had a caller saying he was from the IRS and there was a warrant from the FBI for my arrest because of my bad taxes. Kept the call going for ages before I dropped in the fact I'm in England and we don't call our tax services IRS and we don't have the FBI.
I got a call saying there’s a warrant for my arrest issued by HM Customs.. lol it cracked me up.. spoke to that guy for 15 mins before he got mad and hung up 🤣🤣

I pretend to be an old crazy Asian guy. The last scammer kept telling me that I don't have to keep yelling at him. He got bored and hung up after a while.

Okay. This evening, I've watched a lot of scam videos. Some were computer scammers trying to access a computer and some were IRS scams. The standard component seems to be that they all have Indian accents. Common pattern?

david bryan or for people who have never dealt with the IRS, so they don’t know how this kind of thing would work, which is how they almost scammed me until my best friend told me it was a scam call. I confronted them about it, and I was immediately threatened to be sent to jail with the “recorded phone call” used as evidence of my refusal to pay. 🤣

this scam had my neighbor which she was 74 yrs old in tears and up for days thinking she was going to jail and wouldn't be able to take care of her older husband as she wouldn't be able to come up with the 5K they wanted. pretty sure that's 1 of the reasons she didn't make it 75.
AwakeDude911---I can easily believe that. The mental aspect can effect the physical aspect and it stressed her out and her heart could not take it. I hope those scammers get theirs!
AwakeDude911 We need people who know elderly and vulnerable people to inform them and watch over them. Furthermore, TV media needs to do more to make this known (since a lot of elderly people watch TV and don't use computers).

I was in the middle of writing something when my phone rang. ‘Private Number’ it said, but I was curious. “It’s done but there’s blood everywhere!” I said, feigning exhaustion, before the caller had time to speak. “…Er, hello? Our records show you’ve been involved in an accident in the last 12 months” said a voice. ‘Ah-ha!’, I thought. ‘One of these bastards! Right!’. What followed is a game you may want to try yourself. It’s a hoot! “Oh wow, yes!”, I said. “Last August in London”. This seemed to throw the caller as they’re normally told to f**k off at this point. I decided to have some fun with her. “August the 7th it was. I was walking along Southampton Row in High Holborn, minding my own business when it happened”. My caller obviously was growing more excited by the second at the thought of earning her commission, or whatever it is the corporate ‘man’ entices them with to do such a shitty job, as she started making ‘riiiggghhtt’ and ‘I seeee’ noises. I ploughed on. “It was a beautifully sunny day when I realised I was going to be late so I started jogging along the pavement”. “Can I stop you there, Mr Breakwell. I need to pass you onto my supervisor”. She’d presumably only been trained in being told to f**k off. “Yeah, no worries”, I replied. There followed a muted conversation in the call centre where she was explaining that, after months of enduring obsceneties, she’d found a real accident victim. A stunned man came onto the line. “…Mr Breakwell? My collegue say’s you really had an accident?”. I assured him I had. The guy was delighted and for the next 15 minutes I regaled him with all the fake details my mind could imagine, from what I’d had for breakfast on the fateful morning to the colour of shoes I’d been wearing. I could even hear him typing it all down into their system. I was getting bored by this point so decided to finish him. “…Yeah so anyway’s I thought I was gonna be late so I decided to take a shortcut. I stepped into the road when, all of a sudden, I was hit by a Ford Sierra. It came out of f**king nowhere I tell ya!”. The typing stopped at the other end of the line and you could’ve cut the tension with a knife. “What happened then, Sir?”, the man asked. “What happened? What happened?”, I repeated increduously. “I was killed stone dead, mate, that’s what happened!”. I swear I could hear his head and whole soul implode. He didn’t actually say any words after that. All I could hear was grumbling and slight sobbing. Then he hung up. I seriously urge everyone to try this with cold-callers. It is bed-wettingly funny. It really made my day!
i got a call from the scammer saying he was from the tax office and i owed $8000 in back taxes i had to pay immediately .i asked him how to pay and he gave me a bank account number i told him i will pay $2 immediately and he can withdraw it and buy a hamburger at macdonalds .he then slammed the phone down on me .i never got the chance to laugh at him
December 2020 New Orleans. Hubby and I are both seniors. We happened to be shopping in OFFICE DEPOT for things for the house. And got to the gift card section. There is a HUGE sign, plainly posted - about scammers asking to be paid in gift cards, when 'taxpayers owe the IRS". Which of course is a bundle of shit lie. BUT we were glad to see merchants actively taking this on, stepping up.... and being proactive and vocal about it.
best time to return unwanted calls is either on way to work in morning, or at weekends.......... unfortunate for any unwanted callers I get....... I start work at 4am, and ring them non stop until I get an answer, or I leave a message if no answer....... a bit shitty if you get to work at 8am and the same person has called 150 times.
