The problem is that it goes a lot farther than the agents. The law itself as written is wrong and needs to be changed as it give them all they need to do this unethical and EVIL thing. As he states in the vid, the Justice system is SUPPOSED to be Innocent until Proven Guilty and this just turns that around and worse as it bankrupts you, basically tying your hands behind your back, and expecting you to fight back. I have no problem with a legit investigation on this info, however taken such drastic action with no evidence of a crime is totally beyond acceptable. Had she had utilized a business account rather than a personal account. She could have avoided any and all of her issues. Because of the expense, most small business's don't bother with a business account which is similar to a personal account but because of the various rules, regulations and laws governing money. The IRS did return the funds in 2015, after her restaurant closed in 2014. No legal fees were paid since the IRS explained to the court that they no longer file structuring charges for legal income and the appeals court apparently believed that no harm was done.

Any state in the U.S. can confiscate cash money just because you're carrying it too. If you're carrying a large sum of cash (say over $10,000 to buy a car), any state can, will, and have confiscated that money for no reason. They destroy lives and can still sleep at night. And I agree with signing over your assets to your children...only if you 100% trust them. The death tax is another gov money grab.

It's disgusting what the IRS and the court did to her. They allowed the IRS to hold her money for 20 months, long enough to make her close her business and then the IRS crossed their fingers in court saying that they will not target people for structuring that have legal income and the court believes them and believes no harm was done to her so no legal fees awarded.

Three months later, the government’s case collapsed when it voluntarily dismissed its claims against Carole’s bank account and agreed to return all of her money. But the government refused to accept responsibility and it has sought to deny Carole any opportunity to recover the attorneys’ fees, costs, and interest due to her under the Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act of 2000 (CAFRA). Carole’s case ended after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit ruled in favor of the government.

The IRS's stated reason was due to policy changes, the government decided to stop seizing money for structuring if it came from legal sources. In this case, it was generated by the business. The restaurant closed in 2014.

inboxnews If you fail to earn interest to match the inflation rate then your money is losing value. Prices increase because the value of the Dollar is decreasing. The main reason why the Dollar is losing value is because the money supply is increasing. When new currency is created, it dilutes the value of all the previous currency. Study hyper-inflation and you will understand what I am saying here. Keeping your wealth in fiat currency is a terrible idea. Gold, silver, bitcoin, and real estate are great examples of stores of value that maintain against inflation over long periods of time.
