With over 40 years of experience, Professor Yu has dedicated his career to Indigenous development and advocacy, both locally in the Kimberley and on broader state, national, and international stages. He has been a key figure in advancing the social, cultural, and economic well-being of Kimberley and other Aboriginal communities. His leadership has been instrumental in establishing numerous community-based organizations and initiatives that continue to have a lasting impact on the region.
