Irsu vs Ramesses - Multiplayer Battle - Total War Pharaoh 

I don't own the game so I am not sure, but if I remember the show cases before launch, Irsu is one of the two Canaanite leaders. Also Cadmean isn't the faction. Troy and Pharaoh are pre Pyrrhus so you can't have a Pyrrhic victory yet. EDIT: I believe Cadmean is from Cadmus(I think that is his name) the semi-mythical founder of Thebes. Also slightly different meaning, being a victory where the victor loses "more"(not just men) that the defeated.

Combining spears with chariots is pretty fun to see, because that's what happened in real life! You had runners who would trail behind the chariots, rescuing crashed crews, finishing off enemy ones, defending them from counter-charges

Also speed on the charge is huge in this game. Having Chariots charge down a hill I have gotten them to go through two units of light infantry and keep going, but if you have them charge up something or have little runway before the charge they do next to nothing, which is what we saw when Ramesses charge with his Chariots against the slingers.

Enjoyed the battles as always! By the way, "Cadmean" in "cadmean victory" is the equivalent to a pyrrhic victory. It would be rather anachronistic to use the latter, and so it references Cadmus the mythological founder of Thebes. The legend goes that Cadmus lost his companions in a fight with a dragon but eventually prevailed and slew the dragon, but at great cost to himself.

Happy to see more Pharaoh MP! Enjoying the game :D Super cool to see a unit have multiple weapon stances (two hand etc) Sol learning from his earlier games and mirroring chariots and bringing 4 spears is a ton of survivability. I want to see the meta switch more to skirmishers and having units from Bay and getting the Spear into Chariot (reduces speed) ability in.

Nothing beats rome 2

I believe it's pronounced 'Semen-Eeeh!' chariot; I don't believe the trend of fashioning weapons of war from spunk ever... stuck. I'm surprised it was even *conceived* in the first place, not exactly a PEARL of wisdom you'd want on your wifes' neck. Or eye. Lel.

Is this a spectate mode?

The Warhammer platform really takes away from the beauty of armies crashing. CA needs to overhaul the foundation of their games.

Thin lines vs thin lines. Kinda why I lost interest in multiplayer vs.

I don’t like the battle mechanics. It’s an ok game but online battles will be rare. Rome 2 online lobby has more action.

Hope CA finally listen to what the audience really wants after 40% of their company get layed off and Bobby B gets fired. They caused this mess and they are responsible for 200^ people losing their jobs. Sickening

They really added footsteps in the sand rather than adding real quality to the game 😢
