It's been raining and snowing here so my first thought is the roof! If it doesn't rain much where Sue is maybe it's not that urgent. Your messages don't disturb me at all. I leave my phone and everything else in the studio when I turn in for the night so it's no problem. It sounds to me like Sue needs to become a strict vegetarian who only eats raw vegetables. Can't let her around anything that makes fire or big heat! If you're looking for ideas about painting the house, a nice powder blue sounds nice to me. Then again, I like most all shades of blue, it's a big favorite with me. We saw Blue Man Group Sunday night and it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. If you're not familiar with them, these three guys dress in nondescript clothing and their exposed skin is all painted blue. The idea is that they all look alike. They don't speak at all, but they play music on unusual instruments like bits of PCV pipe, they do all kinds of skits, it was incredible. The things they communicate just with a look can boggle the mind. They have several videos on RU-vid, and they're a lot of fun. I did a good one yesterday. I started filming a new series and spent the whole day covering two movies and a series premiere. It took the whole day. And afterward I realized I forgot an important bit of costume that I had intended to wear for it. So first I had to go find that piece of costume at a Goodwill store, and today I get to re-film all that stuff. As I like today, why do it right when you can do it again???

@@dwashbur I couldn't agree more you have more fun doing it a second time but that would frustrate me only if you were there the one thing I would love to do with you and Kathy it's just to go ape shopping I would have a lot of trouble getting into a costume unless you or she could help me get in one I know I'm not there but as a joke I take a size 18 extra large I did have at one point a Star Trek original series uniform I was a medical officer I loved what I wore made me feel like nobody saw the wheelchair the only thing that bothered me is that my braces ruined the whole bit but I loved it and yes I had heard a Blue Man Group I guess I can try going to that when I'm really blue pun intended but I have to say that talking to you is much better I can't believe that you take so much time and talking to me it really does help when I am so down and my body is not functioning the way it should you see yesterday I was in a lot of pain only due to trying to go to the bathroom I have a lot of pain in the rectum and it takes a long time to get rid of that pain but do you know what you were there with me every time I have to sit on the toilet I really hate doing that because after I'm done I'm in so much pain but your videos help me get through it regarding shoe yes she did burn the house down again but this time and this is weird I didn't have to replace everything so now we have wait for it $8,000 and there's an observatory in the backyard and now Sue has become a writer so she's doing a lot and I wanted to thank you for the painting ideas for the house I am not painted yet I don't think I'm going to do it for a while yet we still have to find another guy and I don't know why this has happened but all the friends that I selected for her disappeared when she died the last time the house is kind of big but I don't want to shrink it because it's hard to fit stuff near the wall do you know that there is a $200 trash bin that every time you use it you get $10 which is really weird regarding the weather there is a Sims title called seasons which I don't have will you get winter spring summer and fall I don't know if it's ever going to go on my desk I think I would have to get the code to buy that particular addition you don't have to go out and buy another disc when you want to add something to your desk you just have to buy the code I had a friend named Gina but she's not with me anymore but there are a lot of updates on the game so I don't know what's going to show up the game updates a lot I played it until 5:30 a.m. and I started at 1:00 yes I couldn't sleep I was watching a series called Black Lightning and series only has four seasons right now but don't worry I will find something well I I guess I got to get off this bed and do my morning routine please feel free to write me whenever you can they're supposed to be a big storm coming and I'm not going anywhere but but I'm going to just sit eat something maybe some soup and some toast and just relax and play my Sims if I didn't have that I would be going insane because there's really no where to go and nothing to do but I am so glad that I have a wonderful guy like you you can't understand how wonderful it is for me to have someone so special even though you're not physically here I always look at the phone first thing in the morning when you've messaged me and you are such a comfort when I'm in such pain you can't even put anything up my butt due to pain so when I am in pain you are there and you can tell Kathy for me that she's extremely lucky but if she wants another client and you want to adopt me haha I'm ready for it but I've been awfully big baby haha is your video on your site yet I'm going to go check it now and I'll touch base with you after I eat Irving you're the best and thank you for the suggestions about the house keep them coming I still have to put the foundation on but the stairs are pink and they're lit up and the railings are blue and we have a wooden floor I haven't done the floors yet only in one room so if you have any ideas on that let me know all my love and plenty of kisses Jojo

We had that same big storm yesterday. It knocked out power to a lot of western Washington but thankfully we missed that part. Our biggest concern with wind storms is the trees in our back yard. the yard isn't all that big and there are 8 enormous trees there. In any wind storm, or sometimes without any wind at all, they drop huge branches onto our roof, into the yard, you name it. Before Mark moved in with us, he had asked about setting up a tent in our back yard. I told him that's impossible because it's too dangerous. We can't use the yard at all because of that, so it's a place for the dogs to do their business, and that's about it. We live with the concern that some huge limb is going to come crashing down and damage the roof. Our studios are in an outbuilding near the house, and often we can sit here and listen to pieces of the trees landing on the roof. I'd like to get a couple of them taken out but our landlord can't afford it. My daughter plays an online game called Runescape. It's a quest-based cooperative game that she really enjoys. She's gotten to know a lot of people through it, too. I don't know if that's the kind of thing that interests you or not, but it's something to consider. Right now we're all just sort of hunkered down, waiting for the next wave of this storm. I can see it gathering outside the window, and I wonder how homeless people are dealing with this. It hurts me inside to think of people trying to survive in this without a roof over their heads. We have a project that we call making care bags. We put some protein bars, granola bars, fruit cups, pudding cups, a reusable cup, a lighter, and a pair of gloves in each bag, and we keep them in the cars to give to folks who are flying signs. That was how we got to know Mark, and the folks really appreciate the food. We discovered that people really enjoy the fruit and the pudding, those are treats that they don't often get to enjoy. That was why we started putting those in the bags, it seems to us everybody should be able to enjoy some kind of goodies now and then. We had to quit doing it during lockdown, and have been slow getting started up again. But we have the bags made up and in the cars, all we need are the people to give them to. Not only is it a chance to do a little good for some folks, but it's given me the opportunity to get to know some amazing people, good people who are just in a bad situation for whatever reason. I'm hoping I get to meet more people with this latest round of bag project. I still miss Mark. He was like the brother I never knew I had. Hazel is a little unhappy with me right now. I set up this chair next to me for her, with the heating pad and all the rest, but lately she found a blanket on the floor across the room and adopted that. She was spending most of her time there instead of over here on the chair where she's on camera when I'm filming. So I picked the blanket up and put it away. I'll probably be in trouble with her for that for the rest of the day, but by tomorrow she should be fine. She doesn't hold a grudge, lol. I need to get off here and do some video editing. Several new series are coming down the pike, I hope you enjoy them! Do keep in touch, and take good care of yourself. You matter to me.

@@dwashbur oh thank you I really appreciate that this would happen to me I fell asleep in the wheelchair I'm going to call my girlfriend and then get ready to go to bed for a while don't worry I'm okay I didn't go anywhere the furthest place I went was to go get my mail which is inside didn't go out at all Juanita call this morning and told me about the storm I took all my medication and I was supposed to go to bed by 6:30 but it didn't work I had my soup and my two pieces of toast and my seltzer water black cherry to be specific and my coffee and I didn't realize it but I fell asleep and I just woke up but I'm going to go to the bathroom and hit the sack cuz tomorrow's the first of the month which means I have to get the money for Juanita so she can do some food shopping for me the refrigerator is just about bear and that was part of the reason why she called me I really appreciate all the helpful stuff that you tell me and I'm glad that you do the wonderful stuff for other people I've tried doing that here in the building where I live not the bags and stuff that you mentioned but just being around when somebody needs me but my problem is they don't appreciate it when I go out of my way so I don't do much anymore I just keep to myself and it doesn't mean that I don't care but if I'm not appreciated I'm not going to stick my neck out I know that sounds cruel but that's the way people have been treating me not everyone just some people and you my friend do more than you will ever know to help me through the bad stuff and you matter to me as well that's part of the reason why I keep in touch with you as often as I do you see I never really had anyone that really cared about me I had a couple of people that said they did and promised that they would keep in touch with me but they never did so to hear from you as often as I do is a big deal because you are my family now there are people who say they care but they are just words I've been lied to so many times that it's not funny but you have been like a breath of fresh air and I don't find myself crying as often as I was sometimes there is some physical pain but as long as I can talk about it I'm okay I really want you to know that since my godmother died it's been extremely difficult to love again and be happy and not be so down because my brothers don't even come to see me and I don't even know where they are but you know what I'm not going to cry about it their own conscience will deal with them all I know is that I'm happy that I have found you and I was really surprised when you responded cuz when I write people they don't really respond so you are close to my heart and I hope you are safe keep doing the wonderful things that you do and I'm sure Hazel will be back in her chair soon because I know that she really loves you and so do I take care of my friend be safe and for the record you matter to me too I can't say that any clearer just be safe and do what you can to help other people I'm sure they do appreciate it but don't get over worked okay I don't want you over exerting all my love Jojo and Bear

If someone is ghosting you, it's their loss. I enjoy conversing with you. The bag project sort of evolved from just handing out a protein bar or granola bar or whatever we happened to have in the car. Then I got to know Mark and he taught me what homeless people need/want most. He helped us figure out what to put in the bags and what to leave out. Then one especially hot summer we started adding bottles of water. We've had some little successes, too. Mark was one. Then we got to know a lady who was living in her car. Some time later a gentleman joined her. She had been sleeping in her car in the parking lot of a homeless shelter. He had a room in the shelter, but when he learned that she was out there alone, he gave up his room and joined her. They've been together ever since. Only problem: the car was full of black mold so one or the other of them was always sick. We knew we couldn't do anything about the mold so we were able to help them get a better car, a minivan with room to stretch out. The bags and other food we bought them kept them going until they were able to get into a subsidized apartment. They are now living comfortably and happy. We love them to pieces. Yeah, there are people who don't appreciate it when you do something for them. I figure, do good anyway as the opportunity arises. You never know which act of kindness will turn the tide. We got snowed on all day yesterday and all night, so we haven't gone anywhere today. It's mostly melted and frozen into ice now, which is even worse! So if anybody needs anything, it can wait until tomorrow. We've learned from other people's impatience that, unless it's a life threatening emergency, stay put. And if it's a life threatening emergency, the ambulance people should be doing the driving anyway! The thought of an ambulance takes me back to 3 years ago when I rode in an ambulance. September 8 2019 I had a heart attack. I have two nice stents in my heart arteries now. The funny part is, when I came out of the sedation they put me under to work on me, I felt better than I had in years. I was ready to challenge a tiger to arm wrestle, I felt so good. Doctors, therapists and everyone else were all concerned about how I was feeling, but to this day I feel terrific. It's amazing what good blood flow to your most important muscle can do for you! And I don't have time to kick the bucket; I figure I have enough stuff backed up to keep me busy until I'm about 150. After that life *might* get boring. But probably not. Sleep well.
